Women’s health is undervalued and underserved. Across Canada, many women suffer for 10 years or more without diagnosis, access to specialists or proper care. Women who are struggling with serious health issues often find it challenging to contribute in their workplaces, homes and communities – everyone is affected. It is time to raise awareness of inequities and biases in women’s health and empower women to take more authority over their health experience.

The Women’s Health Coalition (WHC) is advancing a movement to speak openly, learn and engage to address barriers, gaps and biases in gynecological health.
