Parachutes for Pets is a registered charity dedicated to honouring the importance of the human-animal bond by helping vulnerable Calgarians, including children in foster care, the unhoused, seniors, and domestic violence victims, with their pets before they turn to shelters.

Our comprehensive support, resources, and education programs include a Pet Food Bank, Emergency Pet Hampers, essential veterinary care and medical grooming, a Pet Thrift Store, as well as full-time Social Workers.

On September 16th, 2023, we proudly opened the first-of-its-kind Pet Advocacy Center.
