The primary activity of the Darwell District Recreation Association is the ongoing care, maintenance and operation of the Darwell Centennial Hall located at the corner of Highway 633 and 765 in the County of Lac Ste. Anne, Alberta. 

The Darwell Centennial Hall is the central point of many social activities in our small community that encompasses a few houses, a senior’s lodge, a senior’s meeting centre, a K-7 school, an agricultural meeting grounds, a general store, and a gas station and small restaurant within a rural farming community. The Centennial Hall is the only building large enough within our district that can accommodate large gatherings such as weddings, celebrations of life, family and adult dances, and farmers markets.

Funds raised by this raffle will support provide funds to the DDRA so that they can move forward with improvements to the Darwell Centennial Hall. The renovation project will see major work to the exterior of the Hall including upgrading the finish to maintain the integrity of the building envelope and replacing/fixing the metal roof.
