The Second Annual Ryan Couling Memorial U18AA Tournament is excited to announce our online 50/50 fundraiser! - Grab your tickets now!

The Ryan Couling Memorial U18AA Tournament was created to honour Ryan and his accomplishments in life and in hockey. It also serves as a platform to raise awareness of the disease Ryan so bravely fought and to raise awareness around prevention so that others do not have to endure the same battle.

Ryan, who played for Airdrie Minor Hockey Association teams growing up, was a member of the Airdrie Lightning U18 AA boys’ hockey team for three seasons from 2016 to 2019. In April 2021, shortly after his minor hockey career, and while studying at SAIT, he was diagnosed with Fibrolamellar Hepatocellular Carcinoma (FHC) – a rare form of liver cancer. His fight against the disease lasted 19 months.

Funds raised by this raffle will support the Fibrolamellar Cancer Foundation.
