Wharf Rat Rally 50/50: 2026 OFFICIAL RULES

 (“Raffle”)

1. OFFICIAL RULES:

a. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of The Wharf Rat Rally Motorcycle Association, which shall be binding and final as to all matters related to the Raffle. The Raffle is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and local laws.

2. NET PROCEEDS:

a. All net proceeds of the Raffle will benefit The Wharf Rat Rally Motorcycle Association, (hereafter known as “Sponsor”) and the programs and charitable donations that Sponsor supports.

3. PRIZES:

a. Monthly Prizes will be awarded as follows;

i. April 30, 2026: $50 Gas Gift Card

ii. May 31, 2026: Wharf Rat Rally Classic Hoodie ($70 value)

iii. June 30, 2026: Viking Bags - Backpack ($200 value)

iv. July 31, 2026: Motorcycle Helmet ($400 value)

b. Grand Prize Winner

i. Will receive 50 percent of Gross Raffle Proceeds. (“Grand Prize”)

4. ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER:

a. During the dates and times and other details specified below, Raffle tickets MAY BE PURCHASED ONLY BY PERSONS 19 YEARS OR OLDER in accordance with these Official Rules. Raffle tickets may NOT be purchased by anyone under the age of 19, regardless of location or method of purchase.

b. The following, including their spouse and any related or dependent person residing in the same household, are prohibited from purchasing a ticket: Wharf Rat Rally Motorcycle Association Board of Directors, Association employees, partners and owners/employees of contracted event planning company.

c. Lottery is intended for residents of Nova Scotia.

5. PURCHASING RAFFLE ENTRIES:

a. The following prices and corresponding “ticket numbers” are available for purchase:

i. 5 for $10

ii. 20 for $20

iii. 75 for $50

iv. 200 for $100

b. Raffle tickets will be available via the online purchase website Rafflebox or at the live venue ONLY by eligible persons (see “ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER” above). Online - Purchasers must provide their first name, last name, address, telephone number and e-mail. In-Venue the purchaser must provide; First Name, Last name and Phone Number. Payment will be accepted online via Credit Card, Visa Debit. In-venue will be Card or Cash.

c. Official Rules are available online and should be read before ticket purchase. Tickets will be available between April 1, 2026 and 8:30pm September 6, 2026. The closing of the ticket sales will be announced online as, “Ticket sales for Wharf Rat Lotteries are now closed!”

d. Tickets can only be purchased online through www.wharfratrally5050.com

e. Purchasers will be asked to verify their details before the ticket is processed. One buyer per purchase.

f. No minimum number or value of tickets needs to be sold. Once sold, tickets will not be refunded for any reason.

g. Tickets will be sold using a certified online raffle system supplied by Rafflebox. In venue tickets may be sold at the following locations; 7 Birch Street, Digby NS, B0V 1A0 . All ticket numbers will be emailed to online ticket purchasers by the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) (Rafflebox), in venue ticket buyers will receive a physical ticket. A physical ticket will not be mailed out for this draw to online purchasers.

h. After buying, purchasers will be presented a downloadable and printable ticket/receipt with their 50/50 registered numbers. Numbers purchased will be stored electronically along with the purchasers’ purchase history and information.

i. The amount of the 50/50 will be broadcast and updated live (in real time) on the website.

j. Lottery ticket purchases are not considered a charitable donation and no charitable receipts will be issued.

6. THE DRAW:

a. Winner will be selected by a RNG (Random Number Generator) by a Wharf Rat Rally executive member.

b. The draw will be made September 6, 2026 at 8:45 p.m at 7 Birch Street, Digby NS, B0V 1A0.

c. The winning ticket number will be announced on social media. The winner will be notified the same day as the draw.

d. Failure of claiming the winning ticket within 90 Calendar days will result in voiding winning ticket. If no tickets are claimed to be winners within the allocated time-frame the prize will be redrawn on December 10, 2026 at a regularly scheduled board meeting.

7. POTENTIAL WINNERS WILL BE NOTIFIED BY THE WHARF RAT RALLY:

a. Owners of eligible entries need not be present in person at the Drawing in order to win.

b. EACH POTENTIAL WINNER MUST CONTACT THE WHARF RAT RALLY DIRECTLY TO BEGIN THE PROCESS REQUIRED TO CLAIM HIS/HER PRIZE NO LATER THAN 90 CALENDAR DAYS AFTER THE WINNING NUMBER WAS SELECTED. Wharf Rat Rally phone number: 902-245-5924; email manager@wharfratrally.com.

8. DETERMINATION OF OFFICIAL WINNER(S):

a. The Wharf Rat Rally shall have the sole discretion to determine whether each Potential Winner is an official winner of a Prize (an “Official Winner”).

b. The Wharf Rat Rally’s decision concerning the identity of all Official Winners shall be final and binding.

c. To become an Official Winner: (1) a Potential Winner must be eligible to participate in the Raffle under these Official Rules and must not be in violation of these Official Rules as determined in The Wharf Rat Rally’s sole judgment; (2) that Potential Winner must contact The Wharf Rat Rally by the deadline specified above.

d. The winner must provide his/her name, address and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet. A scan of a valid provincial or federal photon identification card (i.e., driver’s license, firearm possession permit, passport, etc.) is acceptable.

9. AWARD OF PRIZE(S) TO OFFICIAL WINNER(S):

a. A Prize will be awarded to each Potential Winner who has been designated by The Wharf Rat Rally as an Official Winner.

b. All prizes will be sent to the Winner via cheque within 30 calendar days of Winning. For security and safety reasons, no cash payments will be made to winners.

c. The winner will be contacted by Wharf Rat Rally staff by September 10, 2026th to verify the amount and the winner’s address.

d. The winner agrees to have his or her likeness, image, first name and town name used for promotional purposes by the Wharf Rat Rally Motorcycle Association without remuneration in perpetuity.

e. If possible, a photo of the cheque presentation is preferable with the winner and a board or staff member of the Wharf Rat Rally present. Every effort will be made to have the cheque presented and payment completed before the end of September.

10. GENERAL CONDITIONS:

a. The Released Parties (defined below under “RELEASE OF LIABILITY”) are not responsible for:

i. Entries which are stolen, lost, damaged, illegible, given away or no longer in the purchaser’s possession;

ii. Entries that have been or may have been tampered with or re-sold in violation of these Official Rules;

iii. Entries or payments that are delayed, misdirected, undelivered, not fully captured, or garbled as a result of any failure or problem whatsoever with the availability, functionality, operability or use of any network, server, ISP, website, computer, telephone, cable or satellite modem or connection, hand held mobile device or any other computer equipment or connection, whether or not caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by viruses, worms, or malfunctions affecting a network, server ISP or any equipment or programming used in or associated with the Raffle;

iv. Any other errors of any kind, whether human, typographical, printing, mechanical, or electronic in nature, which relate to or are connected with the Raffle (collectively, as described in clauses (1) through (4), “Errors”), including without limitation Errors in Raffle-related materials or in the administration of the Raffle, such as Errors in processing Entries, identifying Potential Winners, determining Official Winners, or announcing or delivering Prizes; or If any portion of the Raffle is compromised, in Sponsor’s sole judgment, by a virus, worm, bug, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in Sponsor’s sole judgment, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Raffle, or the proper submission or capture of Entries (collectively, a “Compromising Event”), then Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend, modify or terminate the Raffle, and to select winners from all eligible, non-suspect Entries received before the known occurrence or discovery of such Comprising Event.

b. All Entry purchases shall be final, and no refunds or replacements will be issued by Sponsor. Sponsor has sole and final decision on admissibility of entries and the determination of prize winner.

11. RELEASE OF LIABILITY:

a. Entrants, by participating in the Raffle, agree that The Sponsor and Rafflebox Inc, each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, partners, and advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, shareholders, members, consultants and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any liability for injuries, losses, cost, expenses or damages of any kind, including damages for death, personal injury, property damage.
