Summer 50 50 Rainbow Camp®

The Welcome Friend Foundation invites you to take part in our 50/50 Raffle in support of Rainbow Camp® and our urgent goal of securing a permanent home for 2SLGBTQ+ youth and their allies.

The need for Rainbow Camp® has never been greater. As 2SLGBTQ+ youth face increasing risks, isolation, and uncertainty, having a safe and affirming place to go is more important than ever.

Rainbow Camp® gives young people a place where they can feel accepted, supported, celebrated, and free to be themselves. But without a permanent home, our ability to welcome campers and plan for the future remains uncertain.

Funds raised through this raffle will support the Foundation’s work toward purchasing land for Rainbow Camp® and helping build a stable, long-term home where 2SLGBTQ+ youth can gather, grow, and know they belong.

WelcomeFriend Foundation Raffle Rules 50/50

1) Players of this lottery must reside in Ontario, be 18 years of age or older, and must use a major credit card of Visa debit card to purchase. Credit cards used for payment must have an Ontario address.

2) Tickets will be available for sale online, and we reserve the right to offer in-person ticket sales at special events.

3) Tickets will be sold at a rate of – 1 for $5; 3 for $10; 10 for $20; 60 for $50

4) Draw will take place on August 21st @ 5:00pm EST.

5) The winner will be determined by random-number generator draw. The winner will be contacted by phone or email.

6) Draw results will be announced on Facebook page

7) By purchasing a ticket, purchaser agrees to allow WelcomeFriend Foundation to use purchaser’s name and image without compensation for any promotional activity related to this or any future raffle.

8) The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchased for.

9) In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning stub will kept in a safety deposit box and held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated to a charity other than WelcomeFriend Foundation, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
