Your United Way is a local charity committed to improving lives and building communities by leveraging collective resources and mobilizing collective action to achieve the greatest impact.
Every dollar raised through our Barrie Baycats 50/50 Draws will be reinvested into our communities through local initiatives that are:

*There is 1 pre-season exhibition games and 24 regular games scheduled for the season.
Should the Barrie Baycats team reach the Playoff Games there would be up to 12 additional games
played and those game dates would be dispersed throughout August and September 2026.
1. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 Raffle:
• Employees of United Way Simcoe Muskoka
• Persons under the age of 18
• Intoxicated Persons
• Persons residing outside of Ontario
2. Tickets are:
• 1 raffle number for $5
• 5 raffle numbers for $10
• 20 raffle numbers for $20
• 100 raffle numbers for $50
• 250 raffle numbers for $100
3. In order to qualify for a chance to win the 50/50 raffle patrons must purchase a ticket for the current 50/50 draw.
4. Tickets can be purchased online at uwsimcoemuskoka.ca prior to the game and in person at the Barrie Baycats Home Games from the start of the game until the end of the 7th Inning as outlined below. Tickets will be sold using an electronic raffle system supplied by Rafflebox Technologies Inc., an approved vendor of the AGCO.

5. After purchase, patrons that purchased a ticket online will receive an emailed ticket. The tickets purchased in person on the Raffle Sales Unit (RSU) will be provided a paper ticket. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
6. The winner will be randomly selected after each raffle is closed. The winner will be randomly selected using Rafflebox’s online platform.
7. The winner from each individual raffle will be awarded 50% of the total pot.
8. The 50/50 winner and total jackpot won will be posted on Baycats5050 socials (Instagram and Facebook), there will be a link to live raffle on Baycats5050 socials. Winners first name and prize won will be posted on uwsimcoemuskoka.ca
9. The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchased for.
10. The winner shall be contacted by phone on the number provided during the ticket purchase checkout process.
11. The winner must provide one piece of ID to prove age over 18 and proof of Ontario residence.
12. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided or the 6-month deadline from the date of the draw their ticket was purchased for.
13. The winner will then be paid by cheque for the amount posted at the event for which they bought their ticket. All payments will be made by cheque, written in the winners name. As a backup, cheques will be mailed to winner after photo ID is obtained.
14. All prize winners agree to have their name and prize information publicized by United Way Simcoe Muskoka.
15. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning stub will be kept in a safety deposit box and held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated to the United Way Simcoe Muskoka for their current fundraising campaign, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
16. Tickets cannot be transferred or resold to another party.
