UNB REDS Weekly 50/50 Jackpot Rules

This Raffle draw is valid in the province of New Brunswick ONLY. Ticket sales are restricted to within New Brunswick. Players must be an individual, at least 19 or older and use a major credit card, Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit.

Only one name is to be entered on a lottery ticket and only one person is to win the prize. In the event a winning ticket has more than one name on it, the UNB REDS shall award the prize to only the first name identified on the ticket. The UNB REDS are not responsible for any disputes that may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the winning ticket.

Tickets will be available for purchase in person at select REDS home games, or online. They will be sold at a rate of 1 for $5, 3 for $10, 10 for $20 and 50 for $50.

There is no minimum or maximum number of tickets to be sold.

Ticket sales will end each week on Sunday’s at 11:59PM AST, with the draws taking place on the UNB Fredericton Campus on Monday’s at 10:00AM AST. The next weekly draw will begin on Monday’s at 11:00AM AST.

The winner will receive a prize of 50% of the pot. The customer must select the REDS team that they would like to support before they make their ticket purchase. Every ticket sale for each REDS team, will see the selected team get 35% of their total ticket sales for the draw to support equipment expenses. The remaining 15% is for expenses, processing & administrative fees, taxes etc. Draws are non-progressive and there will be a guaranteed winner drawn.

For tickets purchased online, all ticket numbers will be emailed to ticket purchaser by the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS), Rafflebox. A physical ticket will not be mailed out for this draw.

The winner will be determined by a random draw using a registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) Random Number Generator (RNG).

The winning draw number will be published at GOREDSGO.CA. The winner will be contacted by telephone and/or email. The winner will be notified how to claim their prize, regardless of if they purchased the ticket in-person or online.

The winner has 30 days to claim their prize. After 30 days, if the prize remains unclaimed, proceeds will be deposited to the REDS teams selected to be used for equipment expenses.

By purchasing a ticket, the purchaser agrees to allow the UNB REDS to use the purchaser’s name and image without compensation for any promotional activity related to this or any future raffle.

By purchasing a Raffle Ticket, the player agrees to be bound by these rules.
