Toronto Cat Rescue - 50/50 Raffle - July 2026 - Rules of Play

1. Players must be 18 years or older, and use a major credit card, Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit.

2. Tickets will be sold online using the electronic lottery system supplied by Rafflebox.

3. The Lottery dates below will occur in the province of Ontario:

July 10, 2026 at 1pm Early Bird draw will take place at Toronto Cat Rescue 4229C Dundas St W. Early Bird Prize = $500
August 3, 2026 at 1pm. Grand prize will take place at Toronto Cat Rescue 4229C Dundas St W 

4. Tickets will be sold at a rate of:

4 tickets for $20
20 tickets for $50
50 tickets for $100
200 tickets for $250 

5. After buying, patrons will be provided by the seller, a receipt with the registered numbers from the electronic raffle system (Rafflebox). No specific numbers can be given as they are issued in sequence of order.

6. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generator (RNG) system from all lottery numbers sold for the draw.

7. The draws will be done at Toronto Cat Rescue’s physical location at 4229C Dundas ST W, Toronto, M8X 1Y3. The winning number will be updated on the lottery landing page and on Toronto Cat Rescue’s website/social media channels.

8. Winners may claim their prize by contacting Toronto Cat Rescue at 437-604-2401. Winners will be paid by cheque. Winners must have the original winning ticket and no copies. 

9. The winner has 30 days to claim their prize, a second draw from the same numbers will occur after 30 days if the prize goes unclaimed. 10. The winner must provide his/her name, address, phone number with a picture identification for our report sheet. 

11. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50 percent of the total sales for that draw (net of the $500 early bird prize). If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided. 

12. In the event that no winner comes forward, the final winning number will be kept on file in a secure location and held for 3 months. After that time period has elapsed, the prize will be donated to Toronto Cat Rescue, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO)

The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 draws:

- Residents outside of Ontario
- Anyone under the age of 18
- Or any other restricted members such as the organizations board members, staff members and/or active participants.
