The Wilfred Schlegel Hope Fund (Schlegel Villages Benevolent Fund) is intended to provide financial assistance to Schlegel Villages members in times of hardship. It was created from a belief that no one should have to face life’s hardest moments alone. Rooted in the legacy of Wilfred Schlegel — a farmer, pastor and community builder who dedicated his life to serving others — the fund exists to surround each other with compassion and support when unforeseen hardship turns life upside down.
Small acts of generosity become something extraordinary — neighbours helping neighbours, coworkers lifting one another up, and an entire community reminding people they are not alone. Every dollar raised and every act of generosity helps ensure that when hardship strikes, help is already waiting. We are committed to sustaining the fund for future generations to come. Through fundraising efforts like these, we can continue to care for people when they need it most.

Schlegel Villages Benevolent Fund Rules of Play Raffle Rules
1. Ticket purchasers must be at least 18 years of age and be within the province of Ontario at the time of purchase.
2. Players must use a major credit card, Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit to complete the ticket purchase.
3. The raffle is open to the public and subject to Provincial Laws and Regulations.
4. Tickets will be sold using an electronic raffle system supplied by Rafflebox Technologies Inc.
5. You must purchase a raffle ticket to qualify.
6. Maximum ticket value available for purchase: $153,294
7. Tickets will be available online and sold at a rate of:
3 for $10
10 for $20
50 for $50
200 for $100
8. There will be three Early Bird Draws with 1 prize to be won at each draw and one Final Draw with 31 draws for 31 prizes to be won, the deadline of eligibility is 11:59AM on all draw dates.
All draws will be conducted at 12PM on:
o Early Bird Draw 1: July 15, 2026- 1 prize available
o Early Bird Draw 2: July 31, 2026- 1 prize available
o Early Bird Draw 3: August 15, 2026- 1 prize available
o Final Draw: August 31, 2026- 31 draws for 31 prizes available
All draws will be done electronically through RaffleBox Technologies Inc. The draw will be located at The Village of Winston Park, 695 Block Line Road, Kitchener, ON N2E 3K1.

11. All ticket numbers will be emailed to ticket purchasers by the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) (Rafflebox Technologies Inc.). A physical ticket will not be mailed out for this draw.
12. After buying, purchasers will receive a confirmation email with their registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
13. The winning ticket numbers will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw.
14. A representative of the Schlegel Villages Benevolent Fund will contact the winners by phone and/or email.
15. The winner(s) will be announced online through live stream, on social media, and in person at the Village of Winston Park, retirement residence.
16. All prize items are subject to the terms and conditions set out by the respective retailer.
17. AII participants will have their name and phone number recorded online.
18. The winner must provide their name, address, and phone number with photo identification for verification.
19. By buying a ticket, you agree to have your name, ticket number and prize published.
20. Regulations prohibit the following persons and their immediate families residing in the same household from purchasing a ticket: Schlegel Villages Benevolent Fund Bona Fide Members, Schlegel Villages Benevolent Fund Board of Directors, employees of Rafflebox Technologies Inc. and members of licensed gaming suppliers providing services to the Lottery.
21. Please keep your receipt - In the event of a disagreement in the draw, precedence will be given to the original receipt issued.
22. Any prize not claimed will be secured for a period of six months from the date of the draw. Every reasonable effort to contact the winner will be made, including: attempting to locate the winner using the contact information provided on the ticket stub, by sending a registered letter and telephoning the individual. If the winner cannot be reached, the licensee must advertise in local newspapers and/or radio stations within 120 days following the draw, setting out a list of the name and city of residence the winner of the unclaimed prize. Unclaimed prizes will be reported, and a charitable allocation will be approved by AGCO.
23. All tickets are non-refundable.

8. The amount of the 50/50 jackpot will be updated in real time online. RaffleBox Technologies Inc. is the online platform being used to manage the 50/50 and will host the random draw electronically.

The winner does not need to pick up their prize in person; it will be mailed to them.
