RAFFLE RULES – Humane Canada 2026 Electronic 50/50 Raffle
1. Humane Canada has established and will maintain rules to govern the conduct of the draw and awarding of the prize.
2. Raffle tickets shall not be sold to a person less than 18 years of age.
3. A requirement that the licensed charity’s raffle ticket sellers advise adult ticket buyers not to write the name of a person under 18 years of age on the ticket.
4. Owners and/or employees of RaffleBox will not be eligible to purchase tickets.
5. All Humane Canada Board members and Staff, and anyone living with them, will not be eligible to purchase tickets in the lottery.
6. The draw will be administered remotely by Humane Canada, 851 Industrial Avenue, Suite M100, Ottawa, ON K1G 4L3.
7. One number will be drawn using a Random Number Generator on Thursday, June 3 2026 at 2pm ET. The winner will be contacted by phone at the number provided with entry, to verify the winning ticket number.
8. If a prize winner cannot be contacted, Humane Canada will secure the unclaimed prize for a period of 6 months from the draw date. If at that time the prize has still not been claimed, the prize will be used as gaming proceeds for Humane Canada upon AGCO approval. The prize will be awarded to the winner by cheque.
9. If a winning ticket has more than one name affiliated with it, Humane Canada shall award the prize to only one of the individuals identified on the ticket, and that the licensed charity and the AGCO are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub.

TICKET REQUIREMENTS AND SALES
1. Tickets will be available for $25 each or 3 for $50, 5 for $75 or 10 for $100
2. The winner will be awarded 50% of all raffle proceeds.
3. Raffle tickets will be sold online only through Rafflebox with payments via credit card being accepted.
4. No person shall be obligated to purchase raffle tickets as a condition of registration for a licensed charity’s programs or services.
5. Tickets shall be delivered via email to purchaser.
6. Winners will be announced via Humane Canada’s social media, website & email.
7. Humane Canada will arrange the transfer of the prize to the winner.
RAFFLE POLICIES
1. Humane Canada will operate the raffle according to the Criminal Code of Canada, the AGCO rules and policies established under the legislation, including these terms and conditions.
2. Humane Canada and our Raffle adhere to all federal and provincial laws.
3. Any approved amendments that affect the awarding of prizes will result in immediate notification to ticket holders.
