The Eagle Valley Snowmobile Club in Sicamous, BC was officially incorporated as a non-profit society in 1990, although our organization’s history can be traced back to the 1950's when the first emergency shelter for snowmobilers was built on Queest Mountain. Over the decades, this shelter has been rebuilt several times, and the club has also taken on the responsibility of grooming the snowmobile trails and maintaining the cabins on Eagle Pass, Owlhead and Blue Lake. The club is currently responsible for the maintenance of over 120 km of snowmobile trails and four shelters under our Partnership Agreement with Rec Sites & Trails. With over 400 active members, we are currently one of the largest organized snowmobile clubs in the province of BC, and we are considered by our community to be an integral component of the winter tourism economy.

Maintenance and grooming on snowmobile trails provides a designated route for outdoor recreationalists to safely access the alpine backcountry and for them to return home at the end of their excursions. The club is also responsible for stocking the shelters with firewood and supplies, and for maintenance and repairs as needed. To keep up with the work, our fleet of vehicles currently includes five snowcats, three service trucks, and one snowmobile.

The EVSC was founded by volunteers and continues to rely heavily on volunteers to remain active and financially sustainable. As the club has grown significantly since its inception, we now also employ 10 to 15 full-time and part-time seasonal employees who perform maintenance and who collect trail fees. Our employees are essential to our ability to consistently provide high-quality trail grooming throughout the winter and for ensuring the safety of everyone using the trails.

The proceeds of the raffle will be used to fund the club's on-going grooming and maintenance operations. Thank you for your support, and good luck!

Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

Draw

Prize Raffle draw: January 1, 2026 at 12:00:00 p.m. PST

If for some reason, the draw cannot take place on the draw date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be able to see the amended draw date and time information posted on the same website the ticket was purchased.

The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG).

All ticket holders are welcome to attend the draw.

Winners will be posted online at https://sledsicamous.rafflenexus.com/winners on January 1, 2025.

4. Winner

Winner will be contacted by phone by Sled Sicamous.

Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Sled Sicamous or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

5. Privacy

Sled Sicamous does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

6. Complaints

Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: info@sledsicamous.com. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.

7. Delay in Draw

Should a delay occur in the draw time on draw day, every effort will be made to make the draw as soon as possible. Should an alternate day need to be announced, after approval by BC Gaming, all ticket purchasers will be notified via email.

8. Other

1. Purchasers must reside or be in British Columbia or be in province at time of purchase, be 19 years or older, and use a major credit card, Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit.

4. The winner will receive 50% of ticket sales

5. All ticket numbers will be emailed to ticket purchasers by the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier Rafflebox.

6. The winner will be determined by a random draw utilizing a certified Random Number Generator by Rafflebox.

7. The winner will be contacted by phone and/or email.

8. By playing you consent to having your name and winning numbers published.
