The Simcoe Lions Club has been a pillar of
community service
in Norfolk County since our founding in 1931. With a membership of
nearly 100
dedicated individuals, the club operates under the motto "We Serve", focusing our efforts on a wide range of local causes
including
youth sports, senior services, and healthcare.
Over the decades, we’ve donated more than $1m to local initiatives. Notable contributions include substantial funding for the Norfolk General Hospital—we helped with ground-breaking in 1937 ! Norfolk County Fair Grandstand completed in 1991 and the Lions Ball Park completed in 1995.

All monies raised from the public go to charitable causes - all administration costs are paid by Lions membership fees.
The club is deeply involved in
the daily fabric of Simcoe through hands-on volunteerism and diverse
programming. We are well-known for our food truck which serves
"Dixie Dogs" at local events like the Norfolk County Fair to raise
funds for the community. Simcoe Lions also champion essential health
causes,
such as local and international eyesight programs, and support
specialized
initiatives like Rainbow Lake for children with cancer (formerly Camp
Trillium).
