SHADOW THEATRE 50/50 Raffle RULES OF PLAY
1) Entry is open to all Alberta general public.
2) Must over 18 years of age to play, tickets must be purchased in Alberta.
3) This is a 50/50 lottery – 50% of ticket sales goes to the winner, 50% is collected by the Edmonton New Shadow Theatre Society.
4) Purchase price of entry is:
1 Ticket for $10 4 Tickets for $20 20 Tickets for $50 100 Tickets for $100
No refunds will be given.
5) Total of 12,470 tickets available over the licence period.
6) All winners are notified by email or telephone and their name will be posted by the Edmonton New Shadow Theatre Society, within its newsletter.
7) Prizes are paid by electronic funds transfer (EFT) or cheque.
8) By playing, you consent to have your name used in social media.
9) All prize winners have 3 months from the date of the draw to claim their prize. If a prize has not be claimed within 3 months from the date of the draw, Shadow Theatre will write the AGLC asking permission to revert the prize back to the Society with the proceeds to be spent on currently approved Use of Proceeds.
10) In the event a winning ticket has more than one name on it, Shadow Theatre shall award the prize to only one of the individuals identified on the ticket. The Society and AGLC are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket.
11) A minimum of ten tickets need to be sold before requesting a draw date extension or canceling the raffle through AGLC.
12) The following are prohibited from purchasing a ticket: Rafflebox employees & immediate family members, Shadow Theatre staff, currently engaged artists, and Board of Directors.
13) The draw will take place at 4:00 pm on Nov. 1, at the closing performing of YAGA. The winner will be announced live from the stage at the close of the show. We will also publish the winner’s name in our next subscribed newsletter. Draw will be determined by Random Number Generator (RNG).
