Salmon Arm Rescue Unit is excited to announce our Hydraulic Tools Replacement online 50/50 fundraiser! - Grab your tickets now!

Salmon Arm Rescue Unit exists to perform extrication services at motor vehicle incidents and other emergencies where entrapment occurs. We serve the areas of Salmon Arm, Canoe, Silver Creek, Ranchero, Blind Bay, Tappen, and White Lake. We provide mutual aid to Chase Fire/Rescue to Sorrento, Lee Creek, Scotch Creek, Celista, Anglemont, Adams Lake, and remote forest service roads.

For our second online 50/50, we are raising funds to replace our aging hydraulic rescue tools. Our goal for our 2026 fundraiser is to raise roughly $150,000 to purchase 6 new electric hydraulic tools to more quickly and efficiently perform extrications.

We are in our 4th year of fundraising for a new Rescue Truck and tools. The Rescue Truck is a specially designed unit that is able to access difficult terrain and carry our specialized equipment. It is currently nearing the end of its lifespan. Our goal is to raise $500,000 for this new truck and equipment box and get new updated extrication equipment, and to date we have raised just over $300,000. SARU 50/50 Rules

1. Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

2. Ticket purchasers must use a major credit card, Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit. Credit cards used for payment must have an BC Address.

3. Ticket purchasers must reside in BC or be physically in BC at the time of purchase.

4. Tickets will be available online and sold at a rate of:

• 1 ticket for $10 - 500 tickets available

• 5 tickets for $40 - 500 packs available (2,500 tickets total)

• 10 tickets for $75 - 400 packs available (4,000 tickets total)

5. Ticket sales will end on March 6th, 2026 at 9:15 PM.

6. The draw will take place on March 6th, 2026, at the SASCU Recreation Centre located at 2550 10th Street, Salmon Arm, BC at 9:30pm.

7. The winner will receive a cash prize of 50% of ticket sales up to a maximum prize of $27,500. The prize will be in the form of a cheque and will be delivered to the winner in person or by mail.

8. All ticket numbers will be emailed to ticket purchasers by the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) (Rafflebox). A physical ticket will not be mailed out for this draw.

9. The winner will be determined by a random draw utilizing a BC Gaming registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) Random Number Generator (RNG).

10. The winner will be contacted by phone and email. Prize must be claimed within 90 days of the draw.

11. By playing you consent to having your name and winning numbers published.
