The Bow Valley SPCA, located in Canmore, Alberta, operates Canada’s first no-cage, no-kill Adoption Centre. Every day, we work to improve the lives of homeless dogs and cats and the families who adopt them.

In recent months, we’ve cared for many special animals who required urgent and extraordinary care:

Jethro, our street-savvy orange tabby, endured multiple specialist visits before finally receiving corrective surgery on his lower eyelid (Entropion) at the CARE Centre in Calgary, relieving him from pain and irritation.
Ducky was born with an adorable but challenging cleft palate, along with a few other oral complications. She underwent delicate skin-graft surgery to try to close the opening in her hard palate and protect her from future potential infections.
Sparrow, a gentle senior lady, needed specialized surgery when a blocked salivary gland threatened her comfort and wellbeing. Thanks to treatment, she’s now on the path to relief and recovery, and has found her forever home, too!
Blaine, our charming FIV-positive tomcat, has been battling unexplained skin issues. He is currently receiving advanced diagnostics to determine treatment next-steps and hopefully get him feeling like himself again.
Multiple litters of adorable kittens needing medical care, spays and neuters.

Rescue abandoned and surrendered dogs and cats in the Bow Valley
Provide essential veterinary treatments and rehabilitation

Ticket distribution will be online in packages as follows: 20 @ 1 for $10; 960 @ 4 for $20; 2,000 @ 20 for $50; 10,000 @ 100 for $100. *Tickets must only be purchased or sold within Alberta.

Players must reside in Alberta and be 18 years or older.

Ticket sales will end August 5th, 2026 at 11:59pm.

Winner will be drawn on August 6th at the Carla Cumming Sojonky Adoption Centre.

The winner will be determined by a random draw using a Random Number Generator (RNG).

The winner will receive a cash prize of 50% of ticket sales, up to a maximum prize of $10,000.

All ticket numbers will be emailed to ticket purchasers by the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (Rafflebox). A physical ticket will not be mailed out for this draw.

The winner will be contacted by phone and email. The winner has 30 days to claim their prize, a second draw from the same numbers will occur after 30 days if the prize goes unclaimed.
