On June 24th, Rotary Club of Edmonton is hosting a dinner and sailing fundraising event on the Edmonton Queen Riverboat. In conjunction with our Rotary on The River event, Rotary Club of Edmonton is hosting a 50/50 raffle in support of:
Rotary Club of Edmonton - Community Service:
The Rotary Club of Edmonton stands as one of Edmonton's most enduring service organizations, carrying forward a legacy of more than 110 years dedicated to advancing social well‑being, education, health, and international development.
Founded in 1916, The Rotary Club of Edmonton stands as one of Edmonton's most enduring service organizations, dedicated to advancing social well‑being, education, health, and international development. Its local work focuses on supporting high‑need children, families, Indigenous communities, and inner‑city schools—efforts reflected in school nutrition programs, youth services, and partnerships with frontline agencies.
Zebra Centre Child and Youth Advocacy Centre:
Opening in 2002, the Zebra Centre was the first of its kind in Canada, providing essential services and supports for children and youth who have experienced abuse of all forms including physical, sexual, emotional, neglect as well as online exploitation and witness to crime.
Zebra’s multi-disciplinary team of police, social workers, counsellors, crown prosecutors as well as advocates and navigators work together to provide a continuum of wrap-around support including investigative supports, justice supports and healing supports.
The Zebra Centre supports kids of all ages (from 3-18) as well as their safe caregivers, and in 2025, the Centre helped 4,418 kids!
