Telethon 50/50 Rules of Play
Tickets and Prizes
1. Tickets are available for 1 for $10.00, 4 for $20.00, 20 for $50.00 and 100 for $100.00.
2. A total number of tickets available for each 50/50 is: 1,000,000 and will be available for sale across all ticket packages, and sales will conclude if and when this maximum amount is reached.
3. The Telethon 50/50 style draw is where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner at the Regina Humane Society.
Ticket Sale and Draw Process
1. The lotteries are marketed to existing RHS supporters and the public at large via emails and social media advertising.
2. Through a unique link, individuals may purchase tickets through the lottery provider website, Rafflebox.
3. Tickets are emailed to purchasers and mailed to those who do not have an email address.
4. A progressive total of the prize pool is displayed on the Rafflebox website and is updated in real time as tickets are sold.
5. Online sales continue until 11:59 pm on March 21, 2026.
6. The winner is drawn via a Random Number Generator on Rafflebox at 5:00 pm on the draw date. The winner is notified via phone, electronic means or, when necessary, by mail.
7. Once the winner is contacted, the prize cheque for 50% of the ticket sales is issued, and the winner’s name is published via Rafflebox, the Regina Humane Society website and social media sites.
8. Ticket purchaser information is downloaded from Rafflebox for entry into the Regina Humane Society’s donor database.
9. At the conclusion of the lottery all relevant materials are stored in a secure storage area.
Rules of Play
1. Ticket purchasers must be 19 years or older.
2. Tickets may be sold or purchased only in Saskatchewan.
3. The total number of tickets available is: 1,000,000.
4. The draw will be held at the Regina Humane Society Animal Community Centre located at 4900 Parliament Avenue in Regina, Saskatchewan.
5. The Draw will take place at 5:00 pm on Sunday, March 22, 2026.
6. The cut off date and time for the draw will be Saturday, March 21, 2026 @11:59 pm.
7. The draw will be conducted by Random Number Generator and the winner announced to all participants via electronic notification and/or by phone.
8. The maximum prize will be 50% of sales to a maximum prize value of $500,000.
9. There are no cash alternatives offer in lieu of the prizes as the prizes themselves are cash.
10. Conditions affecting ability to win or claim prizes include, but are not limited to:
a. Tickets may only be purchased by participants physically located in Saskatchewan.
b. Ticket purchasers must use a valid email address to purchase tickets and claim prizes. All tickets will be emailed to purchasers via online purchases.
c. Eligible participants can purchase tickets over the phone by calling (306) 543-6363 then 0 for assistance. Tickets purchased via phone will be emailed to those with a valid email address or mailed to those without an email address.
d. Handheld devices may be used to purchase tickets.
e. Prizes will be delivered by the Regina Humane Society.
f. Members of the organization involved in the conduct and management of the raffle may not purchase tickets.
g. RHS Members may purchase tickets. Ineligible groups to purchase tickets are: RHS staff and their immediate families and RHS Board of Director members and their immediate families.
11. In the event of a question, complaint, or dispute ticket purchasers may contact the Regina Humane Society at (306) 543-6363 or via email at donate@reginahumane.ca.
12. In the event a prize is not claimed, the Regina Humane Society shall hold prizes that are unclaimed in a secure location for a period of one (1) year from the date of the draw. If the prizes go unclaimed beyond their hold date, the prize/cash equivalent shall be donated to a charitable beneficiary approved by SLGA.
