The Regina-Fujioka Student Exchange Program (RFSEP) provides an educational and cultural exchange between high school students from the city of Regina and the city of Fujioka, Japan.

The purpose is to foster a unique learning experience, a better understanding of cultural diversity and forge lifelong friendships. The goal is to create a fulfilling homestay experience for the students through their host families, educators and their community partnerships.

This is a homestay program in which Regina Students will act as host to Japanese students for ten days in the first summer of the cycle and will visit Japan for ten days in the second summer of the cycle. This program is officially recognized and supported by the City of Fujioka, the Board of Education of Fujioka, the City of Regina, the Regina Catholic School Board and the Regina Public School Board and is administered by the Regina-Fujioka Student Exchange Program Board of Trustees.

Funds raised will help offset the cost of both the hosting phase and the travel phase of the program.

REGINA-FUJIOKA STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM 50/50 RAFFLE RULES

1. The Regina-Fujioka Student Exchange Program 50/50 raffle is open to the public and subject to provincial laws and regulations. Members of the organization, immediate family, and people involved in the conduct and management of the raffle are allowed to purchase tickets.

2. Purchasers must be 18 years of age or older.

3. Purchasers must be in Saskatchewan at time of purchase regardless of province of residence. For example, a Saskatchewan resident in Arizona cannot buy a raffle ticket from Arizona.

4. Tickets will be available online at Rafflbox.ca and sold at a rate of 1 for $5, 3 for $10 and 10 for $20.

5. Ticket sales will end on September 16, 2026 at 5:00PM with the draw taking place at Dr. A. E. Perry School 93 Lincoln Drive Regina, SK on September 16, 2026 at 8:00pm.

6. The winner will receive a cash prize of 50% of ticket sales up to a maximum of $2,500.

7. Maximum of 2,500 tickets to be sold.

8. The draw will be conducted using Random Number Generation on the Rafflebox platform, a registered ERS. If the draw cannot take place, the draw will be held as soon as possible, with approval from SLGA. This is only necessary if an unforeseen circumstance should happen.

9. By purchasing a ticket, you consent to having your name and winning numbers published.

10. No refunds will be issued.

11. The winner will be contacted using information provided at the time they purchased tickets.

12. The winner will be paid by e-transfer to the exact phone number or email address recorded online. Payment will be issued within two weeks following the draw date.

13. If the cash prize is unclaimed, it will be held in a secure location for the period of 1 year. If unclaimed in that 1 year, the cash prize will be donated to another charitable group as approved by SLGA.
