The Red Deer Public Schools District Foundation Raffle Rules and Regulations are in compliance with the Terms and Conditions as set out by the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission (AGLC) to support projects within our schools that would not be possible. Rules and Regulations are as follows:

Tickets:

1. In total, 12,375 tickets will be issued online and numbered consecutively
2. 500 tickets are sold individually for $5 each (total revenue: $2,500)
3. 500 bundles of 5 tickets (total of 2,500 tickets) are sold at 5 for $10 (total revenue: $5,000)
4. 625 bundles of 15 tickets (total of 9,375 tickets) are sold at 15 for $20 (total revenue: $12,500)

Sale of Tickets:

1. Sales will commence June 15, 2026.
2. Tickets will be sold exclusively through an Electronic Raffle System (ERS).
3. Registered ERS Supplier is Rafflebox.
4. Tickets may be purchased online with MasterCard, Visa or Debit; no cash or cheques will be accepted.
5. All tickets will be controlled by the licensee and are only available by phone or Internet (online).
6. Tickets will not be sold to any person under the age of 18; nor can an adult write the name of a minor (under the age of 18) on a ticket. If it is determined prior to the draw that a ticket has been issued to a minor, the ticket is deemed void and the purchaser refunded.
7. Tickets may not be advertised and/or sold outside Alberta.
8. The Red Deer Public Schools District Foundation Board members, staff of the Red Deer Public Schools District Foundation and staff of Rafflebox are not eligible to purchase or accept the Red Deer Public Schools District Foundation Raffle tickets.
9. There will be no refunds on purchased tickets.
10. Ticket distribution and control for the 50/50 Cash Lottery Raffle will be under the management of The Red Deer Public Schools District Foundation office located at 4747 53 Street, Red Deer, Alberta T4N 2E6 and Rafflebox.
11. If less than 100 tickets are sold a request for an extension will be made, or a decision to cancel will be made.
12. The Red Deer Public Schools District Foundation respects your privacy. We do not sell, rent or trade our mailing lists. The personal information that will be collected by The Red Deer Public Schools District Foundation will be used to process the ticket orders and to contact you regarding ongoing and future lotteries.
13. Ticket purchases are not eligible for tax receipts.
14. The Red Deer Public Schools District Foundation and Rafflebox will account for every ticket sold. 

The Draw

1. The draw is open to the public
2. The draw will be held at Alberta Springs Golf Resort located at 38302 Range Rd 283, Red Deer, Alberta
3. The draw will be conducted with the use of a Random Number Generator.
4. Tickets sales for the draw will end at 6:30 p.m. MST on August 14, 2026.
5. The draw will be held at 7:00 pm on August 14, 2026. There will be 1 ticket drawn in total for the grand prize.
6. The grand prize draw will be 50% of ticket sales.
7. Notice advising ticket purchasers, in the event a winning ticket stub has more than one
8. name on it, the licensed charity shall award the prize to only one of the individuals
9. identified on the ticket, and that the licensed charity and the AGLC are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub.
10. The draw number, name of the winner and city will be advertised on the Red Deer Public Schools District Foundation website, the Red Deer Public Schools Division website and social media pages (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram).
11. The winners will be notified in writing and/or by phone by the Red Deer Public Schools District Foundation and must be claimed within three (3) months from the date of the prize draw. If the prize remains unclaimed after that date, a request can be made to the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission (AGLC) regarding a decision on the disbursement of the prize.
12. In the event of a power failure, we have chrome books and laptops which are charged and will run without power.
