The Prince George Snowmobile Club was founded on January 5, 1967. Over the decades, the club has seen many changes, but our commitment to the snowmobiling community has remained strong. In recent years, we have focused on growing our membership, educating our community on safe riding practices, and maintaining our riding areas, trails, and cabins.
With over 150 km of trails under our management, there is riding available for every age and skill level. In Fall 2025, we proudly purchased our second groomer. Both groomers are operated entirely by dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to maintain two distinct riding areas.
For backcountry enthusiasts, the Torpy Mountain Trail is a true rider’s paradise. After an 18 km groomed ride along the Upper Torpy FSR, you’ll reach a warm-up shelter tucked away overlooking a large meadow on the right. Just before the shelter, on the left, is “The Burn”—the access trail to the alpine. From there, riders are rewarded with expansive bowls, vast meadows, and deep, untouched powder. This area offers challenging, technical terrain and is not recommended for beginners. Thanks to its size, even on the busiest days there are always fresh lines to be found.
Our multi-use trail system offers something for the entire family. Located at our clubhouse at 12000 Scott Road, just southeast of Prince George, this extensive and well-maintained trail network provides scenic riding for all styles and skill levels. Numerous shelters can be found along the way, offering access to large lakes and open meadows perfect for carving and exploring.
At the staging area is our clubhouse, where we host monthly meetings to discuss club initiatives, fundraising efforts, and ways to build awareness within the community. Along the trails, riders will find several warm-up shelters, including the Yamaha Cabin with a wood stove and tables, the Frost Lake Shelter right on the waterfront, and the Viper Cabin overlooking beautiful Viper Lake.
The Prince George Snowmobile Club was founded by volunteers and continues to rely heavily on volunteer support to keep our trails and cabins maintained and to remain financially sustainable.
Proceeds from this raffle will be used to support the club’s ongoing grooming and maintenance operations.
Thank you for your continued support, and good luck!
Actual odds depend on the number of tickets sold.
