Rules of Play - NSGHA Online 50/50 Raffle
1. Licence Holder and Event Details
This online 50/50 raffle (the “Lottery”) is conducted by the North Simcoe Girls Hockey Association (the “Licensee”) pursuant to a lottery licence issued by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). The Lottery will be conducted using Rafflebox Technologies Inc., an AGCO-approved electronic raffle system.
● Ticket Sales Period: February 14, 2026 to April 1, 2026
● Draw Date: April 1, 2026, following the close of ticket sales

Ticket purchasers must be at least 18 years of age and physically located within the Province of Ontario at the time of ticket purchase.
2. How the Lottery Is Conducted
Eligible participants may purchase electronic 50/50 raffle tickets online through the Rafflebox platform during the approved ticket sales period. Upon completion of a ticket purchase, the Rafflebox system will issue and record a unique electronic ticket number for each ticket purchased.
Following the close of ticket sales, one winning ticket number will be selected using Rafflebox’s certified Random Number Generator (RNG) from among all eligible tickets sold.
The holder of the winning ticket shall be entitled to 50% of the total gross proceeds generated from ticket sales. The remaining 50% of gross proceeds shall be retained by the Licensee for its approved charitable purposes.
3. Ticket Pricing
Ticket pricing has been established to be reflective of other licensed online 50/50 raffles conducted in the local area and is approved as part of the Lottery licence.
Tickets will be offered in the following price structures:
● 3 tickets for $10
● 10 tickets for $25
● 25 tickets for $50
● 75 tickets for $100
There is no maximum number of tickets available for sale unless otherwise specified in the licence conditions. All ticket sales are final.
4. Prize Value
The prize value shall be 50% of the total gross ticket sales generated during the ticket sales period. The final prize amount will be determined upon the close of ticket sales and announced at or following the draw.
5. Determination and Notification of the Winner
The winning ticket number will be determined through the Rafflebox RNG draw process conducted in accordance with AGCO requirements.
The winning ticket number will be posted on the raffle website. The Licensee will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner using the contact information provided at the time of ticket purchase.
6. Cancellation or Disruption of the Lottery
In the event the Lottery cannot be conducted as approved due to technical failure, system interruption, or other unforeseen circumstances, the Licensee reserves the right to suspend or cancel the Lottery, subject to AGCO approval where required. Corrective measures may include rescheduling the draw or issuing refunds, as appropriate and in accordance with AGCO requirements.
7. Unclaimed Prizes
If a prize is not claimed, the Licensee will make reasonable efforts to locate and contact the winner using the information provided at the time of purchase.
The prize must be claimed within six (6) months of the draw date. If the prize remains unclaimed after this period, it shall be disposed of in accordance with Section 5.17.1 of the AGCO Lottery Licensing Policy Manual, and the funds shall be added to the charitable proceeds of the Lottery.
8. Progressive Prize
This Lottery does not include a progressive prize component. Ticket sales will conclude on April 1, 2026, and the draw will be conducted thereafter to ensure the prize is awarded and the Lottery concludes in accordance with the approved licence.
9. General Conditions
● The conduct of the Lottery shall be subject to the terms and conditions of the licence issued by the AGCO.
● All decisions made by the Licensee regarding the Lottery are final and binding.
● By purchasing a ticket, participants agree to be bound by these Rules of Play.
