MSRA Rules of Play for 50/50 Electronic Raffle
Markham-Stouffville Ringette Association is excited to announce the launch of our online cash raffle, where 50% of our proceeds will be distributed to a winning ticket holder!
1) The 50/50 online cash raffle will run from Feb 28 to April 12 2026.
2) The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 draw:
a. Persons under the age of 18
b. Persons not located in the Province of Ontario
3) Tickets are 3 for $5; 7 for $10; 15 for $20; 50 for $50; and 115 for $100.
4) Tickets will be sold using an electronic raffle system supplied by Rafflebox Technologies, an approved vendor of the AGCO.
5) After buying, patrons will be given a receipt with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
6) The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw.
7) The winner and amount of the 50/50 prize amount will be announced at the draw site, the Markham-Stouffville Ringette Association webpage (www.markham-stouffvilleringette.com), Facebook page and Instagram account.
8) The sale of tickets will close on April 12 at 2pm
9) The draw will take place on April 12 at 3pm at Angus Glen Community Centre located at 3990 Major Mackenzie Dr E, Markham, ON L6C 1P8.
10) Winners will be contacted by e-mail or may claim their prize by contacting the Markham- Stouffville Ringette Association at treasurer@markhamringette.com. Winners must have the original winning ticket and no copies. All payments will be made by cheque.
11) The winning ticket holder has six months to claim their prize from the date of the draw.
12) The winner must provide his/her name, address, and phone number with picture identification.
13) Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50 per cent of the total sales for that draw. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
14) In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning number will be kept on file in a secure location and held for six months. After that time period has elapsed, the prize will be donated to a beneficiary approved by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
