MHDHF Vehicle Raffle RULES OF PLAY

Early bird draw (1) for a Blackstone Grill BBQ Package. 
The prize must be accepted as awarded. No cash in lieu of prize. 

Early bird draw (2) for $1,500.00 in Gift Card(s) from Gas King good at all Gas King locations. 
The prize must be accepted as awarded. No cash in lieu of prize. 

Grand prize draw, 2026 GMC Terrain with a retail value of $46,900.00. 
The prize must be accepted as awarded. No cash in lieu of prize. 
The vehicle must be claimed by the winner at Davis GMC Buick Medicine Hat in Medicine Hat, Alberta. 
Any transportation costs will be the responsibility of the grand prize winner.

Series A – 1 for $20 – 2,500 tickets available
Series B – 3 for $50 – 4,500 tickets available
Series C – 10 for $100 – 8,000 tickets available

1)    Entry is open to all Alberta Health Services staff, volunteers, and general public.

2)    Must be 18 years of age or older to play. Tickets will be sold and advertised within the Province of Alberta; however, this does not exclude people coming into the province to purchase tickets.

3)    The following, including their spouse and any related dependent person residing in the same household are prohibited from purchasing a ticket: staff of the Medicine Hat Health Foundation and Rafflebox employees.

4)    All tickets are sold by Visa or Mastercard, Payment by e-transfer or cash is available by calling the office at 403-528-8133.

5)    All tickets will be emailed to ticket purchasers by Rafflebox, the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS). 

6)    Each ticket may have only one name on it. In the event a winning ticket has more than one name on it, the prize will be awarded to the first person identified on the ticket. The Medicine Hat Health Foundation, Davis GMC Buick Medicine Hat and AGLC are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between different individuals whose names appear on the ticket(s).

7)    In the event the winning ticket has more than one name, it is the responsibility of the primary ticket holder to share winning information with the other party/parties.

8)    Early bird (1) prize winner has 3 months from the date of the draw to claim their prize. If the winner has not claimed their prize by April 30, 2026, and after all reasonable attempts have been made to contact the winner and award the prize have been exhausted (ie. by telephone at the number provided at the time of ticket purchase, or by registered mail to the address provided at the time of ticket purchase), the prize will be donated back to the Medicine Hat Heath Foundation upon AGLC approval. 

Early bird (2) prize winner has 3 months from the date of the draw to claim their prize. If the winner has not claimed their prize by May 27, 2026, and after all reasonable attempts have been made to contact the winner and award the prize have been exhausted (ie. by telephone at the number provided at the time of ticket purchase, or by registered mail to the address provided at the time of ticket purchase), the prize will be donated back to the Medicine Hat Heath Foundation upon AGLC approval. 

Grand prize winner has 3 months from the date of the draw to claim their prize. If the winner has not claimed their prize by June 30, 2026, and after all reasonable attempts have been made to contact the winner and award the prize have been exhausted (ie. by telephone at the number provided at the time of ticket purchase, or by registered mail 
to the address provided at the time of ticket purchase), the prize will be donated back to the Medicine Hat Heath Foundation upon AGLC approval. 

9)    All ticket purchases are final. There are no refunds. 

10)     Early bird (1) draw will take place on January 30, 2026. The winning ticket will be determined by Random Number Generator (RNG). Draw takes place at the Health Foundation office (666 5 St. SW, Medicine Hat) and is open to the public. In the event of a power failure, the draw will be conducted once the power is restored. If not restored within 5 hours, the draw will be rescheduled and advertised to the public and ticket purchasers. The early bird winning ticket will be added back to the draw for the grand prize. 

Early bird (2) draw will take place on February 27. 2026. The winning ticket will be determined by Random Number Generator (RNG). Draw takes place at the Health Foundation office (666 5 St. SW, Medicine Hat) and is open to the public. In the event of a power failure, the draw will be conducted once the power is restored. If not restored within 5 hours, the draw will be rescheduled and advertised to the public and ticket purchasers. The early bird winning ticket will be added back to the draw for the grand prize. 

The draw will take place on March 31. 2025. The winning ticket will be determined by Random Number Generator (RNG). Draw takes place at the Health Foundation office (666 5 St. SW, Medicine Hat) and is open to the public. In the event of a power failure, the draw will be conducted once the power is restored. If not restored within 5 hours, the draw will be rescheduled and advertised to the public and ticket purchasers.

11)    A minimum of 6,000 tickets must be sold or the Medicine Hat Health Foundation may apply to AGLC for extension or cancellation. In the event of cancellation, tickets will be refunded.

12)    The winning ticket will be posted under the “Winners” tab on the main raffle page. The winning ticket number and winner’s name will be posted on the Medicine Hat Health Foundation website and social media.

13)    The winner will be notified first by telephone, then in writing if necessary to the address provided by the ticket purchaser at the time of purchase. 

14)    By playing, the ticket purchaser consents to having their name and/or photograph used in social media, marketing materials and publications to advertise the raffle and other charitable works of the Medicine Hat Health Foundation.
