Rules of Play for 50/50 Electronic Raffle:
1. The two lotteries will take place from:
a. Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 9:00 AM EST and end Sunday, June 28, 2026, at 11:59 PM EST
2. All tickets will only be sold to people who are 18 years of age or older.
3. Tickets are 10 for $10, 60 for $20, and 250 for $50
4. Tickets will be sold using an electronic raffle system supplied by Rafflebox Technologies Inc.
5. After buying, patrons will receive by email a receipt with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
6. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw for that day.
7. Tickets will be available for purchase beginning:
a. Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 9:00 AM EST and Sunday, June 28, 2026, at 11:59 PM EST
8. All tickets purchased between:
a. Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 9:00 AM EST and Sunday, June 28, 2026, at 11:59 PM EST will be entered into the grand prize draw
9. The grand prize draw will take place on:
a. Monday, June 29, 2026, at 9:00 AM EST at the Melanoma Network office, located at 466 Speers Road, Oakville, ON. L6K 3W9.
10. The amount of the 50/50 can be monitored online at www.rafflebox.ca/raffle/mc
11. The winning number will be announced online at www.rafflebox.ca/raffle/mc as well as on all Melanoma Canada social media channels.
12. The winner will be contacted by telephone, if we are unable to connect with them via telephone, they will be asked to call back Melanoma Canada at: (905) 901-5121 x 109. We will then follow up with an email requesting they contact Melanoma Canada, to arrange to claim their prize. The prize will be paid to the winner via EFT.
13. The winner must provide his/her name, address, and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet.
14. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, and banking details, an EFT payment will be initiated in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50% of the total sales for the 50/50 draw. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
15. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 draws:
• Melanoma Canada staff or anyone residing in the same dwelling as a Melanoma Canada staff member
• Melanoma Canada Board of Directors
16. Prizes which are not claimed must be secured or placed in safekeeping for a period of six (6) months from the date of the draw. If at the end of six (6) months the prize has still not been claimed, the prize or monies equivalent to the fair market value of the prize must be donated to a beneficiary approved by the licensing authority.
