50/50 Ticket Lottery
House Rules
1. Players must be individuals, 19 years of age or older and must reside in Nova Scotia.
2. Credit cards used for payment must have a Nova Scotia address.
3. Tickets will be available online and sold at a rate of:
a. 3 for $5
b. 10 for $10
c. 30 for $20
d. 100 for $50
4. Draw will take place on the 10th of July 2026, onsite at Grandview Golf & Country Club, Dartmouth, NS, with at least 3 members of the organization.
5. Swing for Scoliosis will adhere to the procedures and processes provide by Rafflebox Inc., for determining the winning tickets.
6. The use of a Random Number Generator (RNG) is permitted to determine the winner of this lottery
7. The winner will receive a cash prize equal to half the total ticket sales, via the Raffle box Inc., platform
8. The winner will be contacted by phone and email. The winner has 90 days to claim their prize, a
a. second draw from the same numbers will occur after 90 days. Draw results will be announced on all
b. our social media platforms
c. Per Alcohol, Gaming, Fuel and Tobacco, Regulation: (6) A second draw must be made for prizes unclaimed after 90 days following the original draw date and this requirement must be printed on the ticket and must be contained in the house rules.
9. By playing you consent to having your name, winning number and community published.
10. The person(s) drawing the winning number, involved in the setup of the draw, or any other approved
a. item for that current draw must not hold a ticket for that draw; this includes the licensee. (Licensee
b. refers to the signatures on the Ticket Lottery Application). Volunteers and family members not involved
c. in the draw are eligible to participate.
11. This lottery is approved for online sales with the selected service provider.
12. Licensee must take all proceeds and pay service provider after they receive all funds.
13. Tickets can only be sold in the Province of Nova Scotia.
14. The contract provided to AGFT between this group and the service provider is the only valid contract to conduct this lottery.
15. Payments to winners cannot be made through electronic payments.
16. This Ticket Lottery License is subject to the 2.13%. of the total prize value, payable to the Alcohol, Gaming, Fuel and Tobacco Gaming License.
17. One bank account must be used for all lottery finances.
18. Lotteries with jackpots exceeding $100,000 will require oversight by a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) to ensure the integrity of the lottery.
a. The CPA must be a separate entity from the membership body, association, or lottery scheme and must be capable of auditing the lottery scheme at AGFT’s request.
19. This lottery covers the approved organization listed on the conditions only.
20. Funds raised from this lottery cannot be used for any form of personal gain.
21. The organization listed on this license is responsible for the management and conduct of this license.
22. Only one name is to be printed entered on a lottery ticket.
23. Only one person is to win the prize.
24. The use of numbered balls to determine the winner of the lottery are not permitted.
25. Enough time is to be allotted to finish ticket sales and have them delivered for the draw.
26. Changes cannot be made to this license once it has been issued
