OFFICIAL RULES RULES OF PLAY

 Light Up the Hills Holly Jolly 50/50 draw

1) Purchasers must be 18 years or older to play.

2) Tickets will be sold using an electronic raffle system operated by RaffleBox.

3) Tickets will be available for sale online, and we reserve the right to offer in-person ticket sales at special events.

4) Tickets can be purchased for $10 for 5 numbers, $20 for 30 numbers, $50 for 150 numbers and $75 for 300 numbers. Purchases can be made online at www.lightupthehills.com

5) Draw will take place at 1200 hrs Jan 21, 2026 at the Georgetown Marketplace. Tickets will be on sale from 0001hrs Tuesday Nov 25th 2025 until 2359hrs on Jan 20th 2026.

6) After purchasing tickets, patrons will receive, a receipt with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be selected as numbers are generated randomly.

7) The winner will be determined by random-number generator draw. The winner will be contacted by phone or email.

8) Draw results will be announced on our website, Facebook and Instagram sites withing 90 minutes of the draw.

9) Light Up the Hills Festival of Halton Board of Directors, as well as immediate family members living in the same household are not permitted to purchase tickets and are not eligible to win.

10) Light Up the Hills volunteers of any capacity including those utilized to assist with the processing of ticket sales at Light Up the Hills managed locations are eligible to play, win prize(s) and otherwise participate in the Holly Jolly 50/50 Draw.

11) The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchased for.

12) The winner must provide his/her name, address and phone number with picture identification for our Lottery Records summary report. This must be sent to info@lightupthehills.com or call 647-228-2146.

13) Once the winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize, which is, set at 50% of the total sales for that game. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.

14) In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning stub will be retained for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated to a Halton Hills charity or non profit public benefit corporation as defined by the Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, (ONCA), with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
