Rules of Play
ELIGIBILITY
1. Ticket purchasers must be 18 years or older to enter The Transportation Museum of Thunder Bay monthly 50/50 Raffle.
2. Ticket purchasers must be located in Ontario at the time of purchase.
3. The following persons are prohibited from purchasing tickets in the Transportation Museum of Thunder Bay monthly 50/50 Raffle:
• Transportation Museum employees;
• Transportation Museum Board of Directors;
• Employees of registered gaming suppliers; and
• Members of the same household of each of the above.
TICKET SALES
1. Tickets must be purchased in the province of Ontario.
2. Tickets may be purchased online through the Rafflebox platform.
3. Tickets for the 12 successive individual monthly draws will be available starting Nov 1, 2025 until midnight of the day prior to each monthly draw. Each draw will take place on the last Friday of the month (except for December). Ticket sales will start for the next draw the day following the previous month’s draw, until the last draw on Oct 30, 2026.

5. Tickets are available at the following bundle prices: $5/1 ticket, $10/3 tickets, $20/10 tickets, and $50/50 tickets.
6. All tickets will be delivered via email. It is the responsibility of the ticket purchaser to ensure that they receive their tickets, however, purchasers do not need their tickets in hand to be included in the draws. If you have not received your ticket(s) please contact the Lakehead Transportation Museum customer service at info@tmtb.ca
7. Only the emailed copy of the ticket is valid.
DRAWS, PRIZES AND WINNERS
1. Ticket sales will conclude at 11:59 PM on the day prior to each of the scheduled monthly draws, at which time all qualified tickets will be confirmed.
2. A single ticket number will be selected on each of the 12 draw dates at 2:00 pm by the Random Number Generation (RNG) on the Rafflebox platform, from all ticket numbers sold during the duration of that month’s raffle. Each of the monthly draws will be conducted at 500 May St N, Thunder Bay ON P7C 3R6. If any draw cannot take place as scheduled due to an unforeseen circumstances, the draw will be held as soon as possible, with approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
3. The winning ticket number for each draw will be posted to the Transportation Museum of Thunder Bay’s website and social media following each of the 12 draws. All winners will also be notified by phone.
4. Ticket holders do not have to be present at the draws in order to win or to claim their prize.
5. The amount of each of the 50/50 prize will be determined based on the number and value of tickets purchased.
6. The winner must provide their full name, address, email address, and phone number when claiming their prize, along with valid photo identification. A cheque for the prize amount—equal to 50% of the total sales for the draw—will be issued to each winner. If the winner is unable to provide photo ID, the prize will be held until proper identification is presented.
7. Prizes will be secured for a period of six (6) months following each draw date. Unclaimed prizes will be reported to, and approved for redraw, by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
8. The winner must provide their full name, address, email address, and phone number upon claiming their prize.
GENERAL
1. By purchasing a ticket in the Transportation Museum of Thunder Bay’s monthly 50/50 Raffle, the purchaser acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these rules. All inquiries regarding the conduct, chance of winning, prizing or procedures of lotteries are to be made to the Transportation Museum prior to the purchase of a ticket.
2. All orders will be processed and fulfilled using the Rafflebox raffle management platform. In the event of any discrepancy, the records of Rafflebox shall be deemed correct and final. The liability of the licensee shall be limited to the purchase price of the ticket.
PRIVACY
1. By claiming a prize, the winner consents to the use of their likeness/photograph, first and last name, ticket number, city/town of residence and the audio/video recording (or written transcription) of the winner notification telephone call, for any publicity purposes by the Transportation Museum of Thunder Bay. The Transportation Museum respects the privacy of its raffle supporters; we do not sell, rent, or trade our supporter lists. The information we collect is used to process raffle ticket purchases, keep our supporters informed about the activities of the Transportation Museum, and ask for their support for our mission to collect, preserve, and promote the Alexander Henry Museum Ship and the transportation history of Northwestern Ontario.
