The Kingston Military Family Resource Centre (KMFRC) is thrilled to announce our Month of the Military Child Online 50/50 Fundraiser – Teal Up!

"Teal Up for the Month of the Military Child" is a meaningful initiative to honour the unique challenges and sacrifices faced by military children. The colour teal was thoughtfully chosen as it represents all branches of the military: blue for the Air Force, green for the Army, and blue/white for the Navy. By wearing teal and participating in activities throughout the month of April, communities come together to celebrate and fuel the strength, resilience, and adaptability of military children, acknowledging their vital role in the military community.

Since 1994, the KMFRC has been Kingston’s primary resource for addressing the unique needs of Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) families during relocations, absences, and transitions. We take pride in delivering quality activities and services that support the evolving needs of CAF members and their loved ones.

Your participation in this fundraiser will enable us to enhance nationally funded services, provide exceptional child care support in times of need, and remain responsive to critical and urgent matters. With your generosity, we can also remove barriers to accessing key services and foster meaningful opportunities for connection and engagement – because connection is at the heart of building resilient military families.

The lucky winner will be contacted to claim their prize, but every ticket purchased is a win for our community.

Rules of Play for 50/50 Electronic Raffle (RAF1535454)

1. All tickets will be sold only to people who are 18 years of age or older.

2. Must be in the province of Ontario at the time of purchase.

3. Tickets will be sold online using the electronic lottery system supplied by Rafflebox.

4. The lottery date below will occur in the Province of Ontario on MAY 7th, 2026, at approximately 11:30AM.

5. Tickets sales will open on APRIL 1st,2026 at 6:00am and close at 11:59pm on MAY 6th, 2026.

6. Tickets are $10 for 10 chances to win, $20 for 25 chances to win, $50 for 100 chances to win, $100 for 300 chances to win, and $200 for 800 chances to win.

7. Tickets are available online at: https://www.rafflebox.ca/raffle/kmfrc

8. After buying, patrons will receive a confirmation, e-mailed with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.

9. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all lottery numbers sold for the draw.

10. The draw will be done at 32 Lundy’s Lane, Kingston, Ontario, K7K 7E2 and the winning number will be updated on the https://www.rafflebox.ca/raffle/kmfrc and @KingstonMFRC Facebook page.

11. Winners may claim their prize by contacting the Kingston Military Family Resource Centre at 613-541-5010 x2715195 or kmfrc@kmfrc.com. The ticket may then be brought to 32 Lundy’s Lane, Kingston, Ontario, K7K 7E2 at an agreed upon time for ticket verification. The winner will then be paid by cheque for the amount posted at the event for which they bought their ticket. Winners must have the original winning ticket and no copies. All payments will be made by cheque.

12. The winning ticket holder has six months to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchased for.

13. The winner must provide his/her name, address, and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet.

14. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a cheque (within 20 business days upon verification) in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50 percent of the total sales for that. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.

15. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning number will be kept on file in a secure location and held for six months. After that time period has elapsed, the prize will be donated to the Kingston Military Family Resource Centre, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

16. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 draw:

• Anyone under the age of 18

• No person assisting in the conduct and management of the lottery event.

• No KMFRC Staff and Board of Directors

17. The above set of rules will be posted on the lottery website.
