Rules of Play – 2026 Spring 50/50 Draw
1. Players must reside in Ontario, 18 years or older, and use a major credit card to purchase. Credit cards used for payment must have an Ontario address.
2. Tickets will be available online and sold at a rate of:
10 tickets for $10; 40 tickets for $20; 150 tickets for $50; 400 tickets for $100.
3. Ticket purchases open on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 12:00am. The 50/50 Draw will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 10:00am. Sales will close at 11:59pm on Sunday, May 31, 2026.
4. The early bird prize is valued at $500. Ticket sales for the early bird draw close on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 9:50am. The early bird winner will be drawn on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 10:00am.
5. Tickets drawn for the early bird prize will be included in the final draw on Monday, June 1, 2026.
6. Tickets will be sold using an electronic raffle system supplied by Rafflebox Technologies Inc.
7. To ensure accessibility, tickets can be purchased through the electronic site with the support of a designated IOOF Seniors Homes Inc. staff person that can be reached by calling 705-728-2389 ext. 322 or in-person at 20 Brooks Street, Barrie, ON, L4N 7X2.
8. Ticket purchasers will not receive a tax receipt for purchase.
9. Draw will take place online at the IOOF Seniors Homes Inc. located at 20 Brooks Street, Barrie, ON, L4N 7X2.
10. The winner will receive a cash prize of 50% of ticket sales.
11. The winner will be determined by a random draw utilising a certified AGCO provider’s (Rafflebox) random number generator.
12. A physical ticket will not be mailed out for this draw. An email confirmation with ticket numbers will be provided after purchase.
13. The winner will be contacted by phone, immediately following the draw.
14. Draw results will be posted on the IOOF’s webpage, purchasing site, and social media accounts.
15. By playing, ticket purchasers’ consent to having their name and winning number published.
16. The winner may claim their prize by contacting the IOOF Seniors Homes at (705) 728-2389 ext. 315 or email at: emartin@ioof.com. After ticket verification, the winner must provide their name, address, phone number, and identification for reporting.
17. The winner will be paid by cheque, if unable to pick-up the cheque in-person, arrangements can be made for the prize cheque to be mailed or receive winning funds via electronic funds transfer.
18. The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchased for.
19. In the event that no winner comes forward, the financial winnings will be held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated to the IOOF Seniors Homes Inc.’s Redevelopment Fund, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
20. All purchasers consent to receiving future communications about the IOOF Seniors Homes Inc. fundraising and awareness initiatives.
21. Tickets purchased will not be refunded, all sales are final.
22. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to the IOOF Seniors Homes Inc. Redevelopment Campaign Fund.
23. Designated IOOF Seniors Homes Inc. staff ticket sellers are the Capital Campaign Manager and the Graphic Artist, Revenue Development Assistant.
24. The designated staff members and their immediate household members will not purchase tickets.
25. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 draw: IOOF Seniors Homes CEO and designated staff responsible for ticket selling.
