1. Rules for buying You Win, We Build! 50/50 Tickets
Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia. Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.
No tickets may be purchased by any employee of Habitat for Humanity Okanagan or by any person assigned to or involved in the administration and management of this prescribed 50/50 gaming event(s). This includes all employees of the Habitat ReStore locations in Vernon, Kelowna, West Kelowna, and Penticton. Nor is an employee’s spouse eligible to buy tickets.
Only Habitat for Humanity Okanagan volunteers are eligible to purchase tickets.
ELIGIBILITY:
Habitat for Humanity Okanagan board members, including their spouses/partners, and any related or dependent person residing in the same household, are prohibited from purchasing a ticket in this lottery. The Licensee (Habitat Okanagan) reserves the right not to accept entries.
All ticket purchasers are responsible for providing proof of ownership of shared tickets.
2. 50/50 Gaming Ticket Series Available
The Habitat for Humanity Okanagan’s 50/50 tickets will be sold as described herein for each 50/50 draw period covered by the gaming event licence as issued.

C 200 Tickets for $100.00 Max Per Draw 150,000
Total # Individual Tickets Per Draw Combined = 375,000
3. Important Dates & Draw Information
Draw 1 start: February 5, 2026 – July 8, 2026
Draw Date: July 10, 2026 @ 1 PM

Draw 2 start: July 13, 2026 - December 16, 2026
Draw Date: December 18, 2026 @ 1 PM

If, for any reason, the draw cannot take place on the listed date and time, a substitute date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be informed via email provided, or they will be able to see the amended draw date and time of draw information posted on the Habitat for Humanity Okanagan website.
The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG).
The winning ticket # drawn will be posted online at the following website link: https://www.habitatforhumanityokanagan.ca
This will be completed within 24 to 48 hours after the draw is completed. Buyers will be notified of the winning ticket # electronically once the draw has taken place.
Tickets are available online through the approved electronic service provider, Rafflebox, and throughout the community at scheduled or pop-up events held by Habitat for Humanity Okanagan, or at events where Habitat for Humanity Okanagan has been invited to participate. Such events will be posted regularly on the Habitat for Humanity Okanagan website and social media platforms.
The records of Habitat for Humanity Okanagan shall be deemed correct if there is a discrepancy in numbers. All sales are final once the ticket number is assigned, and all sales are subject to credit approval.
Prizes: For each 50/50 draw held in the license period, the prize amount will be determined by the total # of tickets sold in each draw period only, and then be divided evenly (50%) between the winner chosen through the Random Number Generator (RNG) and the license holder: Habitat for Humanity Okanagan.
4. Draw Winner(s)
The winner(s) of each draw will be contacted by phone. Habitat for Humanity Okanagan will identify itself during the call, and the caller will be an approved representative of Habitat for Humanity Okanagan.
Each winner understands and consents to the release of their name by the licensee (Habitat for Humanity Okanagan)
If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered on behalf of the minor to the confirmed minor's parent, legal guardian, or trustee.
Identification documentation will be collected from the winner(s) as required before any prize can be awarded.
5. Privacy
Habitat for Humanity Okanagan does not sell, rent, or exchange any personal information collected from each draw with any other organization or entity.
6. PURCHASING RESTRICTIONS:
A non-resident of British Columbia may purchase a ticket only if the entire payment transaction occurs in person while that person is physically in British Columbia, and the tickets and/or receipt are issued at that time. They must also physically return to the province of BC to collect their winnings directly from Habitat for Humanity Okanagan.
Non-residents of British Columbia may not purchase tickets online, by phone, or by mail. All ticket buyers will need to affirm their age and that they are a resident of BC when purchasing their tickets online.
Non-residents of British Columbia cannot purchase tickets by phone, mail, or online.

7. Complaints
Any complaints can be directed in writing to the raffle administrator(s) by emailing: resourcedevelopment@hfhokanagan.ca
The administrator(s) will review the complaint and take appropriate action if/when necessary.
If there is a discrepancy, this list of rules shall be deemed correct.
8. Delay in Draw
Should a delay occur in the draw time on the scheduled draw days, every effort will be made to make the draw as soon as possible.
If an alternate day needs to be announced after BC Gaming approval, all ticket purchasers will be notified via email. Or they can view the amended draw date and time on the Habitat for Humanity Okanagan website.

Lottery prizes are awarded tax-free in Canada. The price of tickets is not deductible as a charitable donation for tax purposes in Canada.
