RULES:
1. Players must be 18 years of age or older, be physically in the province of Ontario at the time of purchase, and use a major credit card, Visa Debit card or MasterCard Debit card. Location Services on your device must be turned on to verify your location, per AGCO regulations.
2. Lottery ticket purchases are not eligible for a charitable donation tax receipt.
3. Tickets will be available online and sold at a rate of:
a. TICKET PRICES:
1 ticket $10 Standard single ticket
5 tickets $25 $5 per ticket
20 tickets $50 $2.50 per ticket
50 tickets $100 $2 per ticket
4. Ticket sales will end on March 20th, 2026.
5. Draw Location and Time: The winning ticket will be drawn virtually on March 25th, 2026. The winning ticket will also be posted on website (gths.ca) and Social Media (https://www.facebook.com/gths.ca/) . The draw will be conducted in accordance with AGCO guidelines, and an independent third party will oversee the process to ensure fairness and transparency
6. The winner will receive a cash prize of 50% of ticket 50/50 sales.
7. All ticket numbers will be emailed to ticket purchasers by the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) (Rafflebox). A physical ticket will not be mailed out for this draw.
8. The winner will be determined by a random draw using a registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) Random Number Generator (RNG).
10. The selected winner must provide acceptable government-issued photo identification to claim the prize. In accordance with AGCO lottery licensing policy, winners have six (6) months from the draw date to claim their prize and provide the required identification. If the winner fails to do so within this six-month period, they will be disqualified. No second draw or re-draw is permitted. If at the end of six (6) months the prize has still not been claimed, the prize or monies equivalent to the fair market value of the prize must be donated to a beneficiary approved by the licensing authority.
11. The winner will be contacted by phone and/or email and will be required to provide identification with photo ID. Once verified by at least two members of the LHA Board of Directors, the certified winner will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize, which is 50 percent of the total sales for the draw.
12. Draw results will be announced on social media following the draw and will be posted on the Georgian Triangle Humane Society Website.
13. By purchasing a ticket, the purchaser agrees to allow Georgian Triangle Humane Society use purchaser’s name and image without compensation, for any promotional activity related to this or any future raffle.
14. By purchasing a ticket, the purchaser consents to allow the Georgian Triangle Humane Society (GTHS) to use their name, image, and/or likeness for promotional activities related to this or any future raffles, lotteries, or charitable events. The purchaser understands they may opt-out of this use at any time by emailing info@gths.ca prior to the draw, scheduled for March 25th, 2026. Opting out will not affect the purchaser's eligibility to participate in the lottery or claim any prizes.
15. Georgian Triangle Humane Society board members, staff, and their immediate family members (those living in the same household) are not eligible to purchase tickets or win prizes in a lottery.
16. Owners and employees of RaffleBox are not eligible to purchase tickets or win.
