GEF Seniors Housing Summer 50/50 Raffle

GEF Seniors Housing is excited to launch our Summer 50/50 Raffle! 🎟️

From June 22 to August 25, you can join the fun for a chance to win a cash prize while supporting seniors in our communities. Half of the jackpot goes to the lucky winner, and half supports GEF’s Quality of Life Fund.

GEF is Alberta’s largest non-profit social housing operator for seniors, serving nearly 4,000 seniors across 43 communities. We create vibrant, affordable communities where seniors can live with dignity and thrive!

Every ticket helps support GEF’s Quality of Life Fund. This fund helps to provide programs, activities, outings, and service enhancements that bring joy, connection, and meaningful experiences to seniors in our communities.

The winning ticket holder will be contacted to claim their prize.

1. Players must be 18 years or older to purchase tickets, reside in the province of Alberta, and use a major credit card, Visa Debit or Mastercard Debit when purchasing online. Cash payments will also be accepted for in-person ticket purchases.

2. Tickets will be available online and in person and sold at a rate of:

• 1 for $10

• 5 for $20

• 20 for $50

• 100 for $100

3. Ticket sales will end on August 25, 2026 at 4:00 PM MST with the draw taking place on August 26, 2026 at 10 AM MST at GEF Seniors Housing - Central Services, 14220 - 109 Avenue in Edmonton.

4. The winner will receive a cash prize of 50% of ticket sales up to a maximum prize of $10,000.

5. All ticket numbers for online purchases will be emailed to ticket purchasers by the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) (Rafflebox). A physical ticket will not be mailed for online purchases. For in-person cash purchases, tickets will be printed and provided to the purchaser at the time of sale.

6. The winner will be determined by a random draw using a registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) Random Number Generator (RNG).

7. The winner will be contacted by phone and email. The selected winner will have 30 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize. If the prize remains unclaimed after 30 days, a second draw will be conducted from remaining ticket entries. The second selected winner will also have 30 days to claim the prize. If the prize from the second draw remains unclaimed after 30 days, an application will be made to AGLC to have the prize donated back to the organization – GEF Seniors Housing.

8. In the event a winning ticket has more than one name on it, the prize shall be awarded to only one of the individuals identified on the ticket. This shall be the first name listed. GEF and the AGLC are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub.

9. By playing, you consent to having your name and winning ticket number published.

10. No refunds will be permitted; all sales are final.
