Foothills Search and Rescue Society 50/50 Cash Raffle Fundraiser

Foothills SAR was formed in 1993, we are a non-profit, volunteer-based organization that provides the RCMP, Calgary Police Services, Alberta Emergency Management Agency, and other partners, with highly trained and experienced members for ground search and rescue, medical aid, disaster relief, and civil emergencies. We depend 100% on donations to keep our organization running, so we can bring family member’s home.

Foothills SAR specializes in ground search and rescue tactics – providing professional search management, lost person behaviour strategies, all weather response, and subject extraction from difficult wilderness locations.

FSAR is working with SAR Alberta, to further our training and skills in formal disaster response and assistance. We currently have members instructing across the region, and undergoing training, for ensuring Foothills SAR members can provide professional competencies from search and rescue into disaster deployment throughout Alberta.

Foothills Search and Rescue Society - RAFFLE RULES

1. Players must be 18 or older, and use a major credit card, Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit.

2. Tickets will be available online and sold at a rate of:

• 1 for $5 – 80 packages available

• 5 for $20 – 180 packages available

• 20 for $50 – 130 packages available

• 100 for $100 – 95 packages available

3. Ticket sales will end on August 31, 2025 at 11:59PM with the draw taking place at the FSAR Command Post in Diamond Valley, Alberta on September 1, 2025.

4. The winner will receive a cash prize of 50% of ticket sales up to a maximum of $10,000.

5. All ticket numbers will be emailed to ticket purchasers by the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) (Rafflebox). A physical ticket will not be mailed out for this draw.

6. The winner will be determined by a random draw using a registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) Random Number Generator (RNG).

7. The winner will be contacted by phone and email. The winner has 30 days to claim their prize, a second draw from the same numbers will occur after 30 days if the prize goes unclaimed.

8. By playing you consent to having your name and winning numbers published.
