Evergreen - 50/50 Raffle Rules of Play
1. General:
1.1. By purchasing a ticket in Evergreen’s 50/50 Raffle (the “Raffle”) the purchaser acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these rules.
1.2. All inquiries regarding the conduct, prize or procedures of the Raffle may be made to Evergreen prior to the purchase of a ticket.
1.3. Tickets will be sold online using the electronic lottery system supplied by Rafflebox.
1.4. The liability of Evergreen shall be limited to the purchase price of the ticket(s) for the Raffle.
2. Eligibility
2.1. By purchasing a Raffle ticket the purchaser confirms that they are at least 18 years of age and located in the province of Ontario. Individuals under the age of 18 and those outside of Ontario are not eligible to participate in the Raffle.
2.2. Only tickets that have been paid for and have been verified as paid for are eligible for the Raffle draw.
2.3. The following persons are prohibited from purchasing tickets or obtaining benefit from the Raffle prize: Evergreen Board of Directors and members of their same household. Rafflebox employees and Evergreen staff directly involved in operating the raffle and members of their same household. Evergreen staff.
3. Purchases
3.1. All purchases must be made by major credit card, Visa debit or Mastercard debit.
3.2. Evergreen has no obligation or liability to any person in respect of the Raffle prize other than to the Primary Ticket Purchaser.
3.3. Tickets cannot be ordered in the name of a minor.
3.4. Tickets can be purchased beginning June 12th 2026, at 7:00am. Ticket sales conclude at noon, 20th July 2026.
3.5. Ticket purchasers will be provided with a receipt with their registered number(s) for the Raffle from the electronic raffle system Rafflebox. No specific numbers can be provided to ticket purchasers as tickets are automatically issued in sequence.
3.6. Tickets will be sold at the following rates:
- 1 ticket for $10
- 4 tickets for $20
- 10 tickets for $40
- 50 tickets for $100
- 200 tickets for $200
4. Prize Draws
4.1. The first early bird prize draw will take place at Evergreen Brick Works, Suite 300, 550 Bayview Ave, Toronto ON, M4W 3X8 on June 25th 2026, at noon. The draw time is approximate.
4.2. The second early bird prize draw will take place at Evergreen Brick Works, Suite 300, 550 Bayview Ave, Toronto ON, M4W 3X8 on July 2nd 2026, at noon. The draw time is approximate.
4.3. The grand prize draw will take place at Evergreen Brick Works, Suite 300, 550 Bayview Ave, Toronto ON, M4W 3X8 on July 22nd 2026, at noon. The draw time is approximate.
4.4. One (1) winning ticket will be selected from among all eligible ticket numbers.
4.5. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generator (RNG).
4.6. The total value of the single cash grand prize for the Raffle will be one half of the total jackpot. The prize must be accepted as awarded.
5. Prize Notification and Payment
5.1. The winning number will be updated on the landing page for the Raffle. The ticket purchaser for the winning ticket will be notified at the contact information provided at the time of purchase.
5.2. The winning ticket purchaser will be paid by Electronic Fund Transfer.
5.3. The winner has six (6) months to claim their prize. The prize amount will be secured for the duration of that six (6) month period. In the event the prize remains unclaimed after the six (6) month period, the unclaimed prize will be reported to, and a charitable allocation will be approved by, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1. By purchasing a ticket, the purchaser releases and holds harmless Evergreen and all of their respective directors, officers, members, employees, agents, successors and assigns from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Raffle or any prize won.
7. Governing Law
7.1. These Rules of Play and the rights and obligations and relations of the parties hereto shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Each party hereto does hereby attorn to the jurisdiction of the Courts of the Province of Ontario.
