DIDSBURY LIONS CLUB RAFFLE RULES
Effective Date: November 1, 2025
The Didsbury Lions Club shall abide by Raffle Terms and Conditions AGLC 2.1.2 “Total Ticket Value Greater than $20,000 dollars for the Quad Raffle detailed below.
1. GENERAL INFORMATION

● Ticket Price: 1 ticket for $20.00 (A series ticket 2999 available) OR 6 tickets for $100.00
(B series ticket - 400units for a total of 2400 available)
● Total Tickets Printed: Available tickets combined for both A and B series is 5399
● Minimum Tickets to Be Sold Before Draw: 1200 tickets sold

● Draw Location: Didsbury Alberta, Canada
● Draw is open to the public.
2. ELIGIBILITY & TICKET PURCHASE
● Tickets can be purchased online through raffle box by scanning QR code or via link shared with ticket purchasers by Didsbury Lions members at community events and or community posters. Tickets can only be purchased online through rafflebox.
● Ticket purchaser must be 18 years of age or older
● Tickets must not be purchased in the name of a minor
- If it is determined prior to the draw date that a ticket has been issued to a minor, the ticket will be deemed void and the purchaser refunded.
● Tickets available for residents of Alberta only
● Any person prohibited from purchasing tickets includes:
○ Raffle Ticket Manager
○ Members of the Raffle Committee
○ Consultants contracted for the Raffle
○ Immediate family members of the above
Tickets are non-refundable once purchased, unless the raffle is cancelled
3. DRAW PROCEDURES
● The draw will be conducted using a random method (Raffle Box random electronic selection process).
● The order in which prizes are drawn will be listed in Section 4.
● Winning ticket for the early bird draw will still be eligible for subsequent draws. The winner of the Grand Prize (ATV draw) WILL NOT be eligible to win the consolation cash prize; once the grand prize ticket is drawn no tickets will be entered into the pool for the consolation draw. Immediately after the grand prize is drawn we will make the draw for the consolation cash prize of $1000.00
● Draws will be supervised and documented by authorized personnel through Raffle Box.
● Draw results will be announced at the draw location and posted on the Didsbury Lions Club website or social media.

● Prizes must be accepted as awarded.
● Prizes may not be substituted or redeemed for cash unless a cash alternative is offered.
● Any transportation or delivery costs are the responsibility of the winner unless stated otherwise.
5. CLAIMING PRIZES
● Winners must claim their prize within 3 months of the draw date.
● Winners must present valid government-issued photo ID and digital proof.
● If a prize is not claimed within 3 months, if the winner doesn’t claim the prize within the 3 months then the Didsbury Lions Club will donate the prize(s) back to themselves or to a local charitable group upon AGLC approval.
● If the winner cannot be contacted after reasonable effort within the claim period, Didsbury Lions Club will contact AGLC for approval to donate prizes.
6. MULTIPLE NAMES ON A TICKET
● If more than one name is listed on a winning ticket, the prize will be awarded to only one person whose name appears on the ticket.
● The Didsbury Lions Club and AGLC are not responsible for disputes among individuals whose names are on the ticket.
7. TICKET CANCELLATION/ REFUNDS
● Ticket cancellations and refunds are not permitted, except in the event of a raffle cancellation approved by AGLC.
● If the raffle is cancelled before the draw due to not meeting minimum ticket sales(1200), all purchasers will be refunded.
8. METHOD OF PAYMENT & PRIZE DELIVERY
● Prizes will be delivered by:
○ Cheque (for cash prizes)
○ Direct pickup (for physical items)
○ Delivery at winner’s expense, if applicable
● Prizes will not be released until verification of identity and compliance with all rules has been met.
