Newfoundland and Labrador Curling Association Inc. - 50/50 Rules & Regulations
1 - Prizes to be accepted as offered and as presented; there are no substitutes.
2 - Prizes have no cash value unless otherwise stated.
3 - Purchasers must be at least 19 years of age. Tickets cannot be purchased in the name of a minor. Tickets must be purchased within the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
4 - Pursuant to the regulations governing this lottery under authority of the department of Government Services, tickets must be purchased within the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
5 - Newfoundland and Labrador Curling Association Inc., reserve the right to publish names, addresses, and photographs of all the winners and or ticket purchasers and retain the right to use such for any, and all promotional purposes for an indefinite period.
6 - All disputes will be settled by Newfoundland and Labrador Curling Association Inc.; all decisions are final.
7 - Our “Newfoundland and Labrador Curling Association Inc.” liability is limited to the purchase price of the ticket only, if for any reason the ticket is not included in the draw. Newfoundland and Labrador Curling Association Inc. will make every reasonable effort to ensure that no tickets are excluded
8 - The winner will be contacted by phone and email. The winner has 60 days to claim their prize, a second draw from the same numbers will occur after 60 days if the prize goes unclaimed.
9 – Payments will start being made by Cheque or Electronic 14 days after February 24, 2026.
10 – Tickets packages are available at the following rates:
∙ 1 for $5
∙ 3 for $10
∙ 20 for $20
∙ 50 for $50
11 - Ticket Sales will begin at 9:00am, on January 9, 2026
12 – Draw Date: February 24, 2026 at 5:00pm (NST) (SUBJECT TO CHANGE) and posted on the curlingnl.ca website.
13 - 10,000 total tickets available. All ticket numbers will be emailed to ticket purchases by the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) (Raffle Box) if purchased online: if purchased in stadium customers will receive a paper copy. A physical ticket will not be mailed out. A hard copy ticket is available to those who request one by emailing tresurer@curlingnl.ca and it will be provided in a timely manner.
14. Winners, by accepting the prizes, agree to release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Newfoundland and Labrador Curling Association Inc. and its employees and agents and lottery sponsors, and media communications and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever related to this lottery the awarding or use of any prize awarded in this lottery and for injuries, death, or disability, as well as damages or losses to persons or property, including, without limitation, in connection with any travel to or from any lottery-related-activity.
15. Individual names are for tracking only and all funds raised are used for the entire group.
16. All persons may purchase tickets. However, members of the Newfoundland and Labrador Curling Association Inc. board or subcommittees , and their immediate family (defined as spouse and children residing with them) are not eligible to claim/win any prizes.
