Burlington Humane Society Grand Prize Raffle 2025

RULES OF PLAY

Burlington Humane Society (BHS) is excited to announce the launch of Grand Prize raffle fundraiser! The lottery is licensed by, and will follow the rules set out by, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

1) Players of this lottery must reside in Ontario and be 18 years of age or older. Tickets must be purchased by major credit card with an Ontario address.

2) Tickets will be sold online only using an electronic raffle system supplied by Rafflebox.

3) Tickets will be sold at a rate of 5 for $10; 20 for $20; 100 for $50 until 11:59:59 am EST on the last day of raffle (schedule is below). Up to 10,500 tickets are available for purchase.

4) Starting September 16, 2025, a new lottery will start and the draw will take place at 3:00 pm EST at the end of the draw duration (schedule is below).

DRAW SCHEDULE:

September 16, 2025 to March 16, 2026

5) The prize will be a 75” Hisense 75A6KV television.

6) The Winner will be determined using Rafflebox’s random-number generator draw. Results will be announced on social media immediately following the draw, and the winner will be contacted by phone or email.

7) The Winner must arrange to collect their prize in person at the Burlington Humane Society (740 Griffith Court, Burlington ON L7L 5R9). At this time, the Winner must provide their phone number, address, a piece of photo ID, and the email receipt with their winning lottery ticket number on it.

8) Once the Winner is verified, they will be awarded their prize by cheque.

9) The winning ticket holder has 6 months from the draw date in which to claim their prize. Unclaimed prizes will be reported to AGCO, and a charitable allocation will be approved by AGCO.

10) Anyone directly involved in the conduct of the lottery is not eligible to purchase tickets.
