50/50 Raffle Rules of Play
1. Sponsor
The 50/50 raffle is conducted by Bridges of Love York Region in accordance with the terms and conditions of the lottery licence issued by the applicable licensing authority.
2. Eligibility
Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older and physically located within the Province of Ontario at the time of ticket purchase.
3. Ineligible Participants
Individuals directly involved in the conduct and administration of the raffle, including the raffle administrator and any person responsible for the draw process, ticket reconciliation, winner selection, or prize distribution, are not eligible to participate in or win the raffle.
4. Ticket Pricing
• 1 Ticket for $25
• 3 Tickets for $50
• 10 Tickets for $100
5. Ticket Sales Period
Ticket sales will commence on July 10, 2026 at 12:00 AM Eastern Time and will close on October 1, 2026 at 10:00 PM Eastern Time.
6. Prize
The prize will consist of fifty percent (50%) of the total gross raffle ticket sales. The remaining fifty percent (50%) of ticket sales will be retained by Bridges of Love York Region to support its charitable programs and services.
7. Ticket Delivery
All ticket numbers will be issued electronically and emailed to ticket purchasers by Rafflebox, the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS). A physical ticket will not be issued for this raffle.
8. Draw Information
The winning ticket will be selected electronically using Rafflebox's registered Random Number Generator (RNG).

9. Winner Notification
The winner will be contacted by telephone and email using the contact information provided at the time of ticket purchase.
By participating in the raffle, ticket purchasers consent to having their name and winning ticket number published by Bridges of Love York Region for promotional, reporting, and licensing purposes.
10. Prize Claim
The winner must provide valid government-issued identification and complete any documentation required by the licensing authority before receiving the prize.
11. Unclaimed Prize
Any prizes which are not claimed must be secured or placed in safekeeping for a period of six (6) months from the date of the draw. If at the end of six (6) months the prize has still not been claimed, the prize or monies equivalent to the fair market value of the prize must be donated to a beneficiary approved by the licensing authority.
12. Odds of Winning
The odds of winning depend on the total number of tickets sold.
13. Refunds
All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued except where required by law.
14. Privacy
Personal information collected during the raffle will be used solely for the administration of the raffle and in accordance with applicable privacy legislation.
15. Use of Proceeds
Net proceeds from the raffle will support Bridges of Love York Region's charitable programs and services for seniors and caregivers throughout York Region.
16. Responsible Gambling

17. Compliance
The raffle will be conducted in accordance with all applicable AGCO requirements, municipal licensing requirements, and Ontario lottery regulations.
