The Brant County SPCA is excited to announce our Spring 50/50 online fundraiser! The lottery is licensed by, and will follow the rules set out by, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
1. Players of this lottery must reside in Ontario and be 18 years of age or older. Tickets must be purchased by major credit card, Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit with an Ontario address.
2. Tickets will be sold online only using an electronic raffle system supplied by Rafflebox, and sold at a rate of:
• 1 for $10
• 4 for $20
• 20 for $50
• 100 for $100
3. The following indicates the dates of each draw with their corresponding draw date. All draws will take place at the Brant County SPCA, 539 Mohawk Street, Brantford, Ontario, N3T 5M8.
Draw 1: March 2nd to April 30th Inclusive with a Draw Date of: May 1st at 10:00am
Draw 2: September 1st to September 30th Inclusive with a Draw Date of: October 1st at 10:00am
4. There will be one winner for each draw. The prize amount will be 50% of the ticket sales for each draw and will be updated in real time on the lottery website.
5. All ticket numbers will be emailed to ticket purchasers by the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) (Rafflebox). A physical ticket will not be mailed out for this draw.
6. The winner will be determined by a random draw using a registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) Random Number Generator (RNG).
7. As per lottery licensing policy, winners have a period of six (6) months to claim their prize. There is no second draw. Any prizes which are not claimed must be secured or placed in safekeeping for a period of six (6) months from the date of the draw. If at the end of six (6) months the prize has still not been claimed, the prize or monies equivalent to the fair market value of the prize must be donated to a beneficiary approved by the licensing authority.
8. No tickets can be purchased by any of the employee(s) of the Brant County SPCA or by any person assigned/involved with the administration and management of the prescribed 50/50 gaming event(s).
This includes Brant County SPCA board members as well as their spouses/partners, and any related or dependent person residing in the same household are prohibited from purchasing a ticket in this lottery.
