50/50 Raffle Rules of Play
1. Name and License
• This raffle is called the Watershow 50/50 Raffle.
• Conducted by Brant Artistic Swimming Club.
2. Eligibility
• Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of purchase.
• Tickets may only be purchased by individuals physically located in the Province of
Ontario when they buy them.
3. Ticket Information
• Tickets will be sold electronically using Raffle Box.
• Ticket pricing options (examples — adjust as needed):
o 1 tickets for $5
o 5 tickets for $20
• No refunds once a ticket is purchased.
4. Sales Period
• Ticket sales begin May 17, 2026 and end June 3, 2026 at 7:45 pm
• Tickets must be paid for and issued before sales close to be eligible for the draw.
5. Prize Structure
• The total prize amount will be 50% of gross ticket sales for this draw.
6. How Winners Are Selected
• The winning ticket number(s) will be randomly selected by a Random Number
Generator (RNG) within the ERS.
• The draw will take place on June 3, 2026, 7:50pm at Brantford.
7. Winner Verification and Claiming
• Winners have six (6) months from the draw date to claim their prize.
• Unclaimed prizes after six months will be handled according to AGCO requirements
(e.g., returned to charity or used as directed).
• Prizes will be paid by electronic transfer.
8. Publication of Results
• Winning ticket number(s) will be posted on Social Media within 24–72 hours of the
draw.
9. Legal Compliance
• This raffle is conducted under Ontario gambling laws. A license from either the
Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) or the local municipality is
required and must be obtained before ticket sales begin.
• Only registered charitable or non-profit organizations can hold a licensed raffle;
otherwise, it would be considered illegal gambling.
11. Consent
• By purchasing a ticket, participants agree to these rules and to the release of their
name and photo for publicity purposes if they win.
