1. Sponsor

The 50/50 raffle is conducted by the Bowmanville Hospital Foundation in support of local healthcare initiatives and hospital equipment needs.

2. Eligibility

• Participants must be 18 years of age or older and physically located in Ontario at the time of ticket purchase. 

• Employees, board members, volunteers, and immediate family members of the Foundation are eligible to participate unless otherwise prohibited by applicable regulations. 

• Void where prohibited by law. 

3. Ticket Sales Period

Ticket sales will begin on July 1, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. EST and close on July 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

4. Ticket Prices

Tickets will be sold electronically at the following rates:

• 1 ticket for $5 

• 5 tickets for $10 

• 15 tickets for $25 

• 40 tickets for $50 

5. How to Purchase

Tickets may be purchased online through the Foundation’s official raffle platform operated by Rafflebox.

Tickets may also be promoted and sold in person at the Rockstalgia and through other online promotional efforts conducted by the Foundation.

Tickets may be purchased through QR codes, mobile devices, and online promotional campaigns.

Upon successful purchase, purchasers will receive their raffle numbers electronically via email.

6. Prize

The prize will consist of 50% of total gross ticket sales accumulated during the raffle period.

The remaining 50% of proceeds will support the charitable programs and priorities of the Bowmanville Hospital Foundation.

7. Draw Details

The winning ticket will be selected through a randomized electronic draw conducted using the Rafflebox platform on July 31, 2026.

8. Winner Notification

The winner will be contacted using the information provided at the time of ticket purchase.

The winning number may also be published on the Foundation’s website and social media channels.

If the selected winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable timeframe, the Foundation reserves the right to proceed in accordance with AGCO and municipal licensing regulations.

9. Prize Claim

The winner may be required to provide valid government-issued photo identification and complete a declaration of eligibility before receiving the prize.

Payment will be made by cheque or electronic funds transfer within a reasonable timeframe following verification.

10. General Conditions

• All ticket sales are final. 

• The Foundation is not responsible for lost, delayed, illegible, or incomplete entries. 

• By purchasing a ticket, participants agree to abide by these Rules of Play and all applicable laws and regulations. 

• The raffle shall be governed by the laws of Ontario and the licensing authority overseeing the raffle.
