Body Brave 50/50 Birthday Fundraiser Rules
1. Raffle tickets are available for purchase online.
2. Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older, and the name of a minor must not be written on the ticket. If it is determined prior to the draw that a ticket has been issued to a minor, the ticket is deemed void and the purchaser refunded.
3. Tickets may be purchased and sold in Ontario only.
4. Board members - or members of their immediate family (spouse/partner) of Body Brave Inc. are not eligible to purchase tickets.
5. Employees - or members of their immediate family (spouse/partner) categorized as “Management” within Body Brave Inc. are not eligible to purchase tickets.
6. Tickets are available as follows:
- 5 for $10
- 25 for $25
- 100 for $50
- 250 for $100
- 600 for $200
7. To be eligible for the draw, payment must be received on or before August 16, 2026, at 11:59:59 PM EST.
8. Prize must be accepted as awarded.
9. Winner will be notified by phone and email within 7 days of being drawn. If winner cannot be located by phone, they will be notified by registered mail within 30 days of the winning ticket being drawn.
10. The winning ticket will be displayed for six months from the draw date, on the Body Brave website draw date. A hard copy of the winning ticket will be secured in a safe for six months from the draw date.
11. If the winner cannot be located within six months of the winning ticket being drawn, the winner’s proceeds will be donated to another charitable organization with the approval of AGCO authority.
12. All ticket sales are final unless there has been an amendment to the raffle (date change or cancellation).
13. All tickets will be emailed to purchasers by the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS). Tickets will not be mailed to purchasers under any circumstances.
14. The name of the winner will be made available to the public no later than 72 hours after the draw, by website. By purchasing tickets, winners consent to having their name and winning numbers published.
15. The winner will be determined by a random draw utilizing a random number generator per Rafflebox, a registered electronic raffle system (ERS) manager in the province of Alberta.
16. The draw is open to the public.
17. The prize is cash; prize winner takes 50% of total ticket sales.
18. In the event a winning ticket has more than one name on it, the prize shall be awarded to only one of the individuals identified on the ticket. This shall be the first name listed. Body Brave Inc. is not responsible for any disputes which may arise.
