1. Ticket sales for both the Gift of Flight and 50/50 will close at 8:59pm PST on May 20, 2026. The draw will be held at 9:00pm PST on May 20 at Richmond Olympic Oval (6111 River Rd. Richmond, BC V7C 0A2)
2. All tickets will only be sold to people who are physically in BC at the time of purchase.
3. All tickets will only be sold to people who are 13 years of age or older at the time of purchase. If a winning ticket bears a minor’s name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor’s parent, legal guardian or trustee.
4. Tickets will be sold using an electronic raffle system supplied by Rafflebox Technologies Inc.
5. After buying, patrons will receive a confirmation email with their registered raffle numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
6. A Random Number Generation (RNG) system will select the winning ticket number from all raffle numbers sold for the draw.
7. The winning number will be announced at the BCWBS fundraising event Hoopfest at Richmond Olympic Oval (6111 River Rd. Richmond, BC V7C 0A2) on May 20, 2026. The winner will be notified by email or phone or in person if present at the event.
8. Winner of the Gift of Flight raffle will receive one roundtrip flight for two guests to any regularly scheduled and marketed WestJet destination!*
Winner of the bonus 50/50 will receive 50% of ticket sales from that raffle, up to a maximum prize of $5,100.
There are no substitutions for these prizes.
9. By purchasing a ticket, purchaser agrees to allow the BCWBS to use purchaser’s name and image without compensation for any promotional activity related to this or any future raffle.
