Rules of Play
1. Alliston & District Humane Society (ADHS) is a 98% volunteer run organization with paid
medical support that operates a no-kill shelter in the Township of Tosorontio, near Everett,
Ontario. ADHS attempts to provide shelter for stray and unwanted animals with priority given
to those that have been abused and neglected. We receive no government funding and rely
solely on adoption fees, donations, and our fundraising efforts to support our initiatives.

2. All tickets will be sold only to people who are 18 years of age or older.
3. Please note tickets are only available online
4. Lottery Dates will take place from February 23rd to March 31st, 2026 in the
province of Ontario.
5. Raffle is operated under Provincial Lottery License No. RAF1531317 and is subject to the
laws of the Province of Ontario. All tickets will only be sold to people who are 18 years of
age or older; the on-line portal will feature a certified “geofence” that will prohibit purchases
from any person physically located – or attempting to access the site from – outside of
Ontario.

7. Tickets will only be available via the online purchase website
www.rafflebox.ca/allistonhumanewinter2026feb. Purchasers must provide their first name, last
name, address, telephone number and e-mail as part of the purchase process and must
purchase tickets only with a valid credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) via a
secure payment gateway.
8. Tickets will be sold using a certified online raffle system supplied by Rafflebox.
9. After buying, purchasers will be presented a downloadable and printable ticket/receipt with
their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can
be given as numbers are generated randomly. Numbers purchased will be stored
electronically along with the purchasers’ purchase history and information.
10. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG)
system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw for the period of the raffle (February 23,
2026 through March 31, 2026)
11. The amount of the 50/50 will be broadcast and updated live (in real time) on the website
https://www.rafflebox.ca/allistonhumanewinter2026feb
12. The winning number will be featured on the Alliston & District Humane Society website at
www.allistonhumane.com by 6pm EST April 1, 2026; additionally, the winner will be
contacted via telephone and e-mail per the information they submit at time of online
purchase.
13. Upon verification of the winner’s identity and age, via a scan of a valid provincial or
federal photo identification card (i.e., driver’s license, firearm possession permit, passport,
etc.), the winner will be sent payment by e-transfer or cheque. All payments will be made by
cheque or e-transfer.
14. The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the
draw their ticket was purchased for.
15. The winner must provide his/her name, address and phone number with picture
identification for our report sheet. A scan of a valid provincial or federal photo identification
card (i.e., driver’s license, firearm possession permit, passport, etc.) is acceptable.
16. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be
given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is, 50% of the total sales for that
game. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until
such identification can be provided.
17. The winner’s name will be broadcast/posted on the website www.allistonhumane.com
and publicized via Alliston & District Humane Society’s Facebook and Instagram accounts.
18. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning number will be kept on file in a
secure location and held for six months. After that time period has elapsed, the prize will be
donated to Alliston & District Humane Society with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming
Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
