The Alberta Debate and Speech Association (ADSA) is a nonprofit, charitable organization that is committed to the development of youth in the areas of Critical Thinking, Research, Analytical Thought, Public Speaking, Teamwork, Leadership and Creativity. To do so, we promote speech and debate activities in English and French in the areas of: Language Arts, Drama, Social Studies, and Science throughout Alberta.

We offer inclusive, diverse, and intellectually stimulating tournaments for all students, as well as provide them with an opportunity to participate in National and International Speech and Debate tournaments. Many successful careers in law, medicine, politics, international relations, motivational speaking, and business have been launched due to the confidence gained through participation in Speech and Debate in Junior and High School. These skills are vital in all aspects of life, at home, at work, and out in the world.

Funds raised by this raffle will help young people expand their horizons, grow personally and academically, and make their voices heard on national and international platforms.

ALBERTA DEBATE AND SPEECH ASSOCIATION RAFFLE RULES

1. Players must physically be in the province of Alberta at time of purchase, be 18 years or older, and use a major credit card, Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit.

2. Tickets will be available online and sold at a rate of:

100 for $100
20 for $50
4 for $20
1 for $5

3. Ticket sales will end on Saturday, April 11 at 4:00 pm, with the draw taking place at Sherwood Park on April 11, 2026 at 5:00 PM.

4. The winner will receive a cash prize of 50% of ticket sales up to a maximum prize of $10,000.

5. All ticket numbers will be emailed to ticket purchasers by the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) (Rafflebox). A physical ticket will not be mailed out for this draw

6. The winner will be determined by a random draw utilizing an Alberta Gaming Liquor Commission (AGLC) registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) Random Number Generator (RNG): Rafflebox.

7. The winner will be contacted by phone and email. The winner has 30 days to claim their prize, a second draw from the same numbers will occur after 30 days if the prize goes unclaimed.

8. By playing you consent to having your name and winning numbers published.
