Raffle Rules

The 50/50 draw will be held at 12:00PM on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Firefly Theatre Studio, Edmonton, AB. Only tickets received through Rafflebox Technologies before the deadline of 10:00AM June 25, 2026 will be eligible for this draw. The above-mentioned draw is open to any member of the public wishing to support the fundraiser. The winner will be announced on June 25, 2026 at the end of the aforementioned draw.

1. Players must reside in Alberta, be 18 years or older, and use a major credit card, Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit. Credit cards used for payment must have an Alberta Billing Address. 

2. Tickets will be available online and sold at a rate of:
• 1 for $10 – 50 packages available
• 4 for $20 – 200 packages available
• 20 for $50 – 130 packages available
• 100 for $100 – 90 packages available

3. Online ticket sales will begin June 1, 2026 and end on June 25, 2026 at 10:00AM with the draw taking place at Firefly Theatre Studio on June 25, 2026 at 12:00PM.

4. All ticket numbers will be emailed to ticket purchasers by the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) (Rafflebox Technologies). A physical ticket will not be mailed out for this draw.

5. The winner will be determined by a random draw utilizing an Alberta Gaming Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC) registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) Random Number Generator (RNG).

6. In the event of a power failure or technical problem with the electronic system at the time of the draw, the draw will take place as soon as the power is restored.

7. Eligibility: Raffle guidelines prohibit employees of Rafflebox Technologies and members of their immediate family and anyone under the age of 18 from purchasing tickets. There are no restrictions regarding the purchase of tickets by members of any sponsoring organization, board members of Firefly Theatre and Circus, staff or volunteers of the Alberta Circus Arts Festival, or their families. The licensee will advise all purchasers not to include the name of anyone under the age of 18 on the ticket due to the requirements of the Public Trustee Act.

8. The winner (if not present at the draw) will be contacted by phone and email. The winner has 90 days to claim their prize. If the winner cannot be located within that time period, an application will be made to AGLC to have the prize awarded to Firefly Theatre and Circus to be used in another online raffle in accordance with the Society’s Use of Gaming Proceeds.
9. Draw results will appear under the "Winners" tab found on the main raffle page.

10. Prize must be accepted as awarded.

11. By buying tickets, you consent to having your name and winning numbers published.

12. In the event a winning ticket has more than one name on it, the prize shall be awarded to the first name listed. AGLC and Firefly Theatre/ACAF are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub.

Privacy: Firefly Theatre and Circus, the Alberta Circus Arts Festival and Rafflebox Technologies respect your privacy. We will not rent, sell or trade our mailing lists. The personal information collected by Firefly Theatre/ACAF will be used to process ticket orders and to contact you regarding ongoing and future lotteries and fundraisers.
