Announcing the Wendal’s Way Dachshund Rescue 50/50 Raffle Fundraiser to help support our dogs in care!

Our foster dogs Oscar and Jessie had some big surgeries and a couple of emergency vet visits in the last few weeks and unfortunately, our bank account is feeling it. Half of the funds raised with this 50/50 draw will go directly to paying for the vet bills, medications, and food needed by our dogs in care. The other half of the money raised goes to the lucky winner of the draw being held on Sunday, May 31st. The more people who buy tickets, the bigger the prize!

So who are we? WWDR is an all-volunteer registered charity dedicated to providing a haven for all dachshunds and dachshund mixes in need in the Maritimes through rescuing, rehabilitating, rehoming, and representing. We prioritize dogs with high medical needs, seniors, and those with behavioural issues.

WENDAL’S WAY DACHSHUND RESCUE 50/50 RAFFLE RULES

1. Players must be 19 years of age or older and must reside in Nova Scotia. Major credit cards, Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit may be used for payment and must have a Nova Scotia address.

2. Tickets will be available online and sold at a rate of: 1 for $5 / 3 for $10

3. Ticket sales will end on May 31, 2026 at 7:00pm with the draw taking place at Middle Stewiacke Rec Centre, 2395 Hwy 289, Middle Stewiacke on May 31, 2026 at 7:05pm.

4. The winner will receive a cash prize equal to half the total ticket sales.

5. All ticket numbers will be emailed to ticket purchasers by the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) (Rafflebox). A physical ticket will not be mailed out for this draw.

6. The winner will be determined by a random draw using a registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) Random Number Generator (RNG).

7. The winner will be contacted by phone and email. The winner has 90 days to claim their prize, and then a second draw will be conducted as per the ticket lottery regulations. Draw results will be announced on all our social media platforms.

8. By participating, players consent to having their name, winning number, and community published on our social media platforms.

9. There is no minimum number of tickets that must be sold.
