Wilmot Heritage Fire Brigades was started in 1995 by a few retired firefighters that wanted to preserve the history of firefighting in general, but especially in Wilmot Township.

WHFB has grown to include over 80 members, some of which have no connection to firefighting. Members are happy to assist with the perseveration of the trucks, equipment and all kinds of memorabilia that has been collected.

Our collection consists of trucks dating back to the 1930s, hand pulled and horse drawn pumps and hose carts that are even older, firefighting equipment, uniforms, badges, photographs, newspaper articles, and more.

We are desperately in need of larger facilities and hopefully this 50/50 raffle will assist us in our endeavor to find a permanent facility.

If you wish to become a member, please do not hesitate to come and visit us any Wednesday evening between 6:30 and 8:30. We need additional help of all ages and interests from polishing a truck to doing computer input to catalogue our entire inventory.
