7. Ticket Purchase Options
Tickets may be purchased online through the Rafflebox electronic system. Tickets can also be purchased in person through the Rafflebox payment system units. Credit Card, Debit and Cash payment methods will be accepted. All payments will be collected by Vernon Winter Carnival.

10. Prize Details
• Prize: 50% of total ticket sales revenue.
• Maximum Prize Value: $30,000
• The prize is not transferable and must be accepted as awarded.
11. Winner Selection Method
A random draw will be conducted using a certified electronic draw system – Rafflebox Technologies. All entries have an equal chance of winning.
12. Winner Announcement
The winner will be announced in person at Valley First and on social media live stream. The winning ticket number will also be posted on www.vernonwintercarnival.com within 24 hours of the draw.
13. Claiming the Prize
The winner must present:
• The original winning ticket or electronic confirmation;
• Valid government-issued photo ID;
• Any additional information reasonably required to verify identity.
Deadline to claim prize: 30 days from the draw date.
14. Unclaimed Prizes
If the prize is unclaimed after 30 days, the licensee will contact the BC Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB) for approval to:
• Hold another draw; or
• Donate the prize amount to a registered charity approved by GPEB.
15. Eligibility
• Open to residents of British Columbia aged 19 or older.
• Tickets may not be purchased or sold outside of BC.
• Board Members of Vernon Winter Carnival Society or employees directly involved in the conduct or management of the raffle are not eligible to purchase tickets.
16. Ticket Restrictions
• Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable once issued.
• Lost or stolen tickets will not be reissued.
• Tickets must be purchased only within British Columbia.
17. Technical Issues
The licensee is not responsible for technical issues affecting the ability to purchase tickets, including internet disruptions or third-party system failures.
18. Privacy
Personal information collected during the raffle is used solely for ticket processing, winner notification, and as required by BC gaming regulations.
19. Disputes
Disputes will be handled by the licensee’s designated Raffle Coordinator. All decisions made by the licensee regarding the raffle are final and binding.
